ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2003 All right, just because it's so early and I have nothing better to do, I just want to make a list of the Royal Rumble entrants thus far. So Far, it's confirmed that we have from Raw... 1)Shawn Michaels 2)Chris Jericho 3)Batista From Smackdown 1)Winner of Lesnar/Big Show (probably Lesnar. And from Unknown 1)Damaja. I just wanted to make this reference...we have 1/6th of the entrants right now.
Guest converge241 Report post Posted January 7, 2003 did they officially say Taker would be in it yet? I didnt see Smackdown so I have no idea
Guest nikowwf Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Undertaker's in. And i wouldn't bank 100% on Damaja. Vince has no qualms blowing off OVW angles. Gee, what happened to WE WILL ANNOUNCE THE RAW PARTICIPANTS FOR THE RUMBLE. They announced 3 guys...ooh...ahh... niko

Gee, what happened to WE WILL ANNOUNCE THE RAW PARTICIPANTS FOR THE RUMBLE. They announced 3 guys...ooh...ahh... niko Guess they changed their mind about announcing the participants. SMackdown has no excuse though... And I'm hoping that Undertaker is back, but we shall see. If he IS in, this will be Taker's 7th Royal Rumble. He was in it 91, 92, 93, 97, 01, and 02. He was numbers 12, 20, 15, 30, 25, and 8 respectively. Why he never drew 13, a perfect number for him, I'll never know. Edit: OH! And as for Damaja might not being in...hell, they let Doug Gilbert into the 1996 Rumble (Gilbert in USWA at the time)
Guest starvenger Report post Posted January 7, 2003 From Smackdown 1)Winner of Lesnar/Big Show (probably Lesnar. I'd say that you're probably right. Lesnar would also be my pick to win the Rumble, since they seem to be heading for an Angle/Lesnar main at WrestleMania...
Guest converge241 Report post Posted January 7, 2003 maybe Big Show will be the #2 entrant and i can have a side pool at my house for how long it takes him to blow up
Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Christian also entered the Royal Rumble last night.
Guest converge241 Report post Posted January 7, 2003 latest bold prediction: Christian saves Jericho from being eliminated at the Rumble Jericho thanks him by immediately tossing him
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Christian also entered the Royal Rumble last night. Ah right... That makes the tentative list: 1)Shawn Michaels 2)Chris Jericho 3)Batista 4)Christian 5)Undertaker (possible) 6)Damaja (if they don't change plans) 7)Winner of Brock/Show
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Hmm...I wouldn't be surprised if Rikishi was entered this year as well, bringing HIS grand total of Royal Rumbles up to 9.
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Report post Posted January 7, 2003 It a little far fetched, but Austin did say the night after the Royal Rumble last year that he was throwing his name in the hat for Rumble 2003...
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2003 It a little far fetched, but Austin did say the night after the Royal Rumble last year that he was throwing his name in the hat for Rumble 2003... Until he officially comes back onto WWF/E programming, I'll just say that they forgot about that whole incident. Though it WOULD be funny if that happened. ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2003 Hmm...if WWE could get them all...look at all the past Royal Rumble winners we POSSIBLY could have in the Royal Rumble match this year.. Hulk Hogan Ric Flair Shawn Michaels "Stone Cold" Steve Austin The Rock And if he's egomaniacal enough, Vince McMahon.

There's a rule in the mysterious WWF/E Rulebook: competitors in the Championship match can not compete in the Royal Rumble. Why Bret Hart didn't enter it in 1995 after the draw. Guest Choken One Report post Posted January 8, 2003 I wish they would though...They have only had IC champs every once in awhile in the rumble... I wouldn't have been mad if they had just allowed it to be 40 men (20/20) and allowed room for Surprises. Who would be angry about 10 more people (other then #1 Jericho)
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2003 Here's probably who all will be in. RAW: Jericho Christian Orton RVD HBK Booker T Goldust Batista Kane Hurricane Nowinski Maven Al Snow D'Lo Test Smackdown: Brock or Big Show Shelton Benjamin Charlie Hass Eddy Guerrero Chavo Guerrero Edge Undertaker Rikishi A-Train Bill DeMott Noble Nunzio Crash Kidman Tajiri Replace one of those with Damaja if they go through with it. Guest raptor Report post Posted January 8, 2003 I've read on several sites that Damaja will be a member of the Smackdown 15. It is from the Intenet though, so I'm not sure.
Guest ManKinnd Report post Posted January 9, 2003 I wouldn't mind if, say, Hurricane won the rumble and challenged the Raw champ for WM. It'd be a nice little surprise and show that anything can truly happen. Plus we know he can bring the match. Brock/Angle can still happen. Why not? My pick is Hurricane. Guest Rob Edwards Report post Posted January 9, 2003 Hopefully they'll leave room for a couple of surprises this year rather than pre announcing them like they did last year, my heart screams Austin and then theres Rhyno of course

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2003 Yes because the main event of Wrestlemania should have a jobber in it Why not? HHH was in the main event last year.... If it weren't for politics, he'd be no better than a jobber.
Guest Rob Edwards Report post Posted January 9, 2003 Yes because the main event of Wrestlemania should have a jobber in it They can always switch the shot before Mania, it's not like it'd be anything new
Guest The Amazing Rando Report post Posted January 9, 2003 Lesnar will still win...though it would be cool to see him just toss both members of Team Angle out like children....only for them to come back in and beat his ass, and still have him prevail (like Austin in 2001)
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted January 9, 2003 HHH got a mini-push upon first entering WWF so he isn't really a jobber and wasn't really a reason to bring up HHH in the first place except for more HHHhate I think after the 2000 debacle they've learned their lesson about making the RR meaningless. They fucked around a bit last year but in the end HHH got the title shot HHH may have lost to the Brooklyn Brawler but he is not a jobber
Guest The Tino Standard Report post Posted January 9, 2003 I think with two title matches, the possibilities of who wins the Rumble can open up a little bit... They have repeatedly stated that the winner of the Rumble gets a shot at that show's champion. They have NOT said that it will automatically be the main event of WrestleMania- that has only been an assumption by everyone here. You could have someone totally out of left field (like The Hurricane) win the Rumble (still unlikely) and just have the other world title match be the main event of WrestleMania. And, of course, just like it was mentioned earlier, you can find a way to lose the title shot despite winning the Rumble, as proven in previous years. Don't get me wrong, I still think Brock winning is money in the bank, but they could still put a SWERVE~ on us.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted January 9, 2003 I believe Brock isn't leaving Boston Rumble Winner, but it won't be a swerve of any sorts, It will be either Jericho, HBK or Booker.
Guest converge241 Report post Posted January 10, 2003 just an aside.. heres who i think will be in the rumble Raw: jericho michaels kane rvd jeff hardy booker goldust batista raven maven christian flair test hurricane nowinski SDown: edge taker brock benjamin haas atrain matt hardy demott misterio rikishi damaja kidman crash shannon moore austin im not using the tag champs or who they will probably face so no regal/Storm, Dudleys, Guerreros, Hip Hop Homeys or anybody booked in a match besides Show-Lesnar
Guest Adrian 3:16 Report post Posted January 10, 2003 Why do I get the bad feeling they'll waste a spot on Al Wilson as a mystery entrant.
