Guest theWCWRaider Report post Posted February 3, 2002 Ok, I put this on the old forum, but I still am interested to here what you guys think. I'm looking at getting some WWF DVD's, preferably PPV's, so what do you recommend? BTW, for WWF stuff, I have: WWF Royal Rumble 2001 WWF WrestleMania 2000 WWF WrestleMania x7 The Rock Just Bring it, and the Rock the People's champ.
Guest Kagato Otaku Report post Posted February 3, 2002 Summerslam 2001 Mick Foley: Hard Knocks and Cheap Pops Royal Rumble 2000 All these and the new Steve Austin DVD coming out in April should definitely be worth picking up.
Guest teke184 Report post Posted February 3, 2002 My recommendations: Mick Foley: Hard Knocks and Cheap Pops Wrestlemania 2000 (decent PPV and a VERY long "Best of WM I-XV" supplementary DVD) Best of WWF RAW Volumes 1 and 2 Summerslam 2000 and 2001
Guest JAMES900 Report post Posted February 3, 2002 I'd also recommend Backlash 2001 on dvd. edited the year(silly me)
Guest Kagato Otaku Report post Posted February 3, 2002 Backlash 2000 isn't available on DVD. Only 2000 WWF DVDs out there are Royal Rumble, WM 2000, KOTR, Summer Slam and Survivor Series.
Guest Daredevil21 Report post Posted February 4, 2002 What's on the Backlash DVD? Must be a lot of good stuff, cause the PPV was one of the worst WWF PPV's of 2001.
Guest Kagato Otaku Report post Posted February 4, 2002 Aside from the card: Dudley Boyz/Spike vs. X-Factor/Albert Raven vs. HC champ Rhyno Duchess of Queeensbury - Chris Jericho vs. William Regal Ultimate Submission - Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle Last Man Standing - Shane McMahon vs. Big Show Euro champ Matt Hardy VS Christian vs. Eddie Guerrero Tag champs UT/Kane vs. WWF champ Steve Austin/IC champ HHH There's four bonus interviews (William Regal, Dudley Boyz, Chris Benoit, Big Show) and the two matches from Heat (Lynn vs. Crash, Lita vs. Molly). Also promo packages dressed up as "special videos".
Guest Daredevil21 Report post Posted February 4, 2002 Hmm, doesn't sound too good to me. I haven't watched Backlash since it first happened. Am I the only who still thinks it sucked? The only thing I enjoyed was the Hardcore Title match and the triple threat match (too short). I'm not a big fan of the extras for many of the WWF PPV DVD's. Guest theWCWRaider Report post Posted February 4, 2002 What are the extras on the best of Raw DVD's?
Guest Kagato Otaku Report post Posted February 4, 2002 What are the extras on the best of Raw DVD's? Go to http://www.thesmarks.com/tapereviews/other/wwf/default.asp and read Shane Spear's reviews of the DVD and see if you're interested. All extras are listed there. Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 4, 2002 Rebellion just came out. It wasn't bad. It has the match from Raw where Rock won the WCW title back from Jericho as an extra. That was cool. There's a good cage match between Edge and Christian. A good WCW title match between Jericho and Angle. And the Main Event is Rock vs. Austin. Guest theWCWRaider Report post Posted February 4, 2002 Yeah, I saw that review Shane did, and it looks good. I'm going out tomorrow, and may just pick that up. Either that or some ECW, but it will depend on how my mood is I guess.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted February 4, 2002 Does anybody know when the Unforgiven & Rock Bottom 1998 DVD's are coming out? I remember it's sometime in Feb., but I don't know the date.

Guest Daredevil21 Report post Posted February 5, 2002 Does anyone know if the 2 '98 PPV's will be cheaper, since the vhs versions are also cheaper?
Guest teke184 Report post Posted February 5, 2002 The MSRP on all the Attitude line DVDs is $15 each. I preordered IYH: Unforgiven for about $9.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 5, 2002 There's nothing good coming out tomorrow...we'll see if that's enough to make me pick up those two ppvs...I doubt it though.
