Guest Markme123 Report post Posted January 8, 2003 I Downloaded a song named Japan-Owen Hart vs Jushin Lyger, and I thought it would be the play-by-play and it turned out to be a song that has nothing to do with wrestling. Here are the lyrics. It must've been a tribute song. It must have broke you're poor little heart when the boys used to say you looked better in the dark. Oh but now they would give up everything they learned in school to be somewhere in the dark with you. You know the teacher would ask a question and you would always raise your hand Oh but somehow you never got you're turn and Then it stops cause I never finished downloading it. Does anyone know the name of the song and the artist?
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted January 8, 2003 I know that one. It's "The Love Roll" by Poppin' Fresh and the Biscuiteers.
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Report post Posted January 8, 2003 Don't listen to Kinetic, he's a bad man. That song is "Homely Girl" by UB40. It has absolutely nothing to do with Owen/Lyger, tribute or otherwise.
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted January 8, 2003 Well, I must say, it bears a striking resemblance to "The Love Roll." That's the song that inspired that late 50s dance craze where excitable young teens on "American Bandstand" would cover themselves in Pillsbury dough and bludgeon each other with biscuit containers; a trend that allegedly claimed the life of the first Dick Clark. I swear to god, it's the same song.
