One an Only WEEK 26 thread

Recommended Posts

It was a decent show. I just hope it isn't only NWA vs SEX. Because I wanna see another Lynn/Truth match sometime.

Mike Sanders.....FINALLY!

The Crossfire is one of the best moves I've ever seen when on target.

It's nice to see promos that actually look real, with one guy interrupting the other and just screaming at each other instead of saying this *cheer* saying that *boo*. Guess it's cuz Tenay really hates Russo.

Everyone seemed a little off last night, as there was quite a few blown and poorly executed spots.

And again, who cares about Mike Sanders. He can talk but he hasn't proved a damn thing in the ring yet IMO. The man is way to overrated IMO.

I didn't think the show was that bad at all. Was it up to par with the show on Dec. 18th? Nope, but it still was pretty solid, I thought.

The opening segments did so much of establishing things for this main storyline, and I really liked it. I liked the fact that there seemed to be a ton of realism and it, and at least for me, I get into things if I at least wonder if the things they are saying or doing are at least somewhat legit. A small thing that I thought was good was that they didn't just have the SEX group just come out of the same entranceway and etc, they actually had them kick out the dancers out of their apparent dressing room so they could use it. WWE is so incompetant they never even did something like this at all when WCW or ECW invaded. F'n sad.

Opening tag was ok, but there was no heat whatsover for the damn thing. The pairings were kind of weird, so that might have something to do with it. On paper I thought this was going to be great, it turned out just alright. David Young is so weird because to me, its either that he is really good or really bad, depending on a certain match. Tonight he was off.

I like this XXX group alot, plain and simple. Elix needs to lay off the juice though and maybe get back into the swing of things on the mic AND in the ring.

X title match was just fine by me, saw some major panjobs on the net for this match and I don't get it at all. I thought both of them looked pretty good in there.

The mess after this match I could have done without, but I understand the point, it was to tease something between the Armstongs, which is fine, but it didnt work like this. Finally, after all these weeks, this seemed to be totally Russo stuff here. Sans with that god awful pole match with Hennig and Flair which made no fucking sense at all in so many facets.

Lynn/Truth v. James/Harris wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but I definately could have gone without it (more because just putting in one Harris guy in there was just lame, they should have just had Sanders come out as the partner as the debut for him). Killings had a spark lit under him though in this match for some reason. He was just busting his ass.

Tag title match was pretty good, as per usual with these teams. This wasn't the best match they had though, surprisingly. I thought this was going to be off the page violent and bloody, and it really wasn't either. They more than anything just stuck to the basics here, and it did let me down. Still a solid match though.

Hennig-Flair was right up there as god awful much like the Bruce matches and the Dupp cup bouts. Hennig irritates me so much lately, this cheap shit mentioning Lesnar every week is retarded.

The Jarrett-XXX matches all as a whole was good enough to keep me watching. I didn't expect any ***** action from this (since a gauntlet match series have never been that off the charts due to time constraints and the fact that the one guy has to pace himself) so I enjoyed it. Marked out for Rhodes........I figured sooner or later he'd be brought into the company.

Next week should be interesting, I'd like to see some major angle with this SEX-Oldschool storyline to happen next week. They're building momentum to the point where if they could get something major to hit here, it could really take off. All I can think of right now is Piper coming back to have a fight with Russo in a match that moreless may be a shoot. Doubtful to happen though, I'm sure.
