Alright, I don't like Angle interfering like that. It makes Team Angle look weak.

Atleast he won.

Hey, Haas went over! Maybe going over Edge this quickly is questionable, but there was interference. Nice match, too. :)

Okay, either the website isn't working for anyone, or no one is posting.

And Shelton is doing pretty well.

I was having a hard time getting in myself, so thats probably it.

They mention this is Benjamin's First match..I guess were ignoring the couple of matches he had on Heat..

Benoit is God.

Words cannot describe how benoit totally made Sheldon Benjamin tonight. I loved that match. I want 15 minutes more of that match.

Good lord does Brock look tiny or what? Seriously, his appeal is with freaky strength and size - putting him against guys like Albert exposes him.

Why is Smackdown both the Hoss and Cruiserweight show? Oh, don't bother answering that...

I was watching, not posting.

No complaints about the ending. Shouldn't be going over Benoit for sure.

Man, so much for those crutches. :P

With RAW its easier to not pay attention and make fun of it here.

With SD!, I put forth all of my attention into it. I suppose it's the same elsewhere. :)

I liked Benjamin/Benoit, but the ending didn't sit right with me. Haas/Edge was some nice matwork, you could really see Haas' amateur background showing. It felt too rushed though, as there were parts were they sold as fatigued when it had only been like 4 minutes into it. *shrugs*

Give em' a longer time and the match could be very good.

Benoit really has to stop watching the Misawa tapes. Someone should take them away from him for his own good. This along with the Noble vs Tajiri match have made this a great SD episode.

Another question: Why does the WWF completely forget Benoit vs. Angle from 2001? I mean seriously, I can almost comprehend them forgetting everything before 1998 because not that many people were watching before it all blew up, but forgetting what happened in 2001? That's just retarded.

i'm DIGGING this smackdown. great feud buildup with angle/benoit, good matches all around (except the first one), & it appears that all of them are getting AMPLE TIME.

And on that 8th day Chris Benoit made Shelton Benjamin. That match farkin rocked, Benoit bumped like a freaknasty ho for everything Benjamin threw at him and took the superkick during the Hass/Edge match like a trooper.

Angle was great tonight too, cheerleading Hass on shouting that it's all about Team Angle, etc...

Arizona is CHAVO COUNTRY! They fuckin loved the lil' guy tonight. Eddy is going to be God of Gods within a month if his pace keeps up.

Kidman vs Matt was fun stuff and Moore vs Demott was........well, Kidman vs Matt was fun stuff.

Edge vs Haas was P.A.W (Perfectly Acceptable Wrestling.) Props to Tazz for actually calling it an Exploder and not some "overhead throw" or t-bone bullshit.

I agree with what Rudo said. Brocks strength is.......well, his strength and size. Putting him against Albert downs it a bit. He shouldn't be wrestling Rey or Tajiri per say, but put him in with some medium size guys and he'll look a lot bigger then he is.

this match is the painful match of the night to watch..worse than Show/Rikishi jsyk..

I almost feel bad for Shannon Moore..

A huge part of why SD gets less posts--less to bitch about. Although we have Billy, the shitty hoss JR brownnoser.

Yeah--boring neck work for no reason.

Then he'll win with a moonsault. Peh.

CORRECTION: Sit down powerbomb? And...the point of the neck work? In a squash?!

I'll agree--great show thus far. We basically got a solid half hour of Team Angle vs. Benoit, in some way, shape, or form, and lo, it was good. Benjamin looked really good in there, throwing some really slick suplexes besides how well Benoit made him look. Perfect Swandive Headbutt tonight, too.

Haas looked a little stiff in there--and not in the BURNING LARIATOOOO sense. Just kinda awkward--I think Benjamin's TV time warmups on Velocity and Heat really helped him a lot.

HEY 41:54 minutes of wrestling!

That's about 4 1/2 minutes each. Which is about a minute above the usual. Had they cut out a match or two (Demott/Moore cough, Albert/Lesnar cough, Eddie/Bull cough, Show/Rikishi cough) and given some matches another 4 minutes (How fucking smooth was Tajiri vs. Noble? That match was godly. Edge vs. Haas went long enough. But Benjamin/Benoit was high class).

Anywho, bitching aside, I really enjoyed Smackdown. Time flew by and I wanted 2 hours more. That's a sign of a good show.

That was pretty boring. I enjoy Matt on commentary though. In fact, I paid more attention to the commentary than I did the actual match. They should have just cut to the commentary team for the whole match. Poor Shannon.

Props to Cole for using "Jackass" to describe Matt Hardy, as opposed to the cliched "bully."

I can forgive bad wrestling if we can get some more crucifixions and deadman antics.

The difference with this show is that just about every segment has a match, and they didn't overdo the backstage skits.

Aw shit, I just marked out for the Undertaker again. I get flashbacks when I see that promo. Isn't that the titantron vid from when he was last the phenom or am I just going crazy?

Heheheh...yeah, I was getting sick of the bully crap.

Alas, I think we still have that Brock/Albert match coming up, with the fucked up F-5 that will give some people pleasure. :P

Yeah, I think it's great we have a former WWE champ who fucks up his own finisher constantly, likely injuring some one this time.

Undercover Brother is just now coming to DVD? I thought that flopped a REALLY long time ago. I am shocked they are even advertising it.

AHHH!! Albert's fat, hairy, naked torso!!!

Oh, so he's grown a beard now. I love character development.

So..his backbreaker is called the "Train Wreck." Hmm...appropriate.

The only good thing about that Moore/Demott match was the commentary.

The show goes downhill after the wicked Team Angle matches, unfortunately. Though at least one person is going to enjoy the hell out of the last segment. I did, suprisingly.

I thought the Haas/Edge match was actually better than the Benjamin/Benoit match. I guess I mark for the Exploider and Haas' overblown victory celebration. Good times.
