Paul Stanley 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2003 Earlier today, Hulk Hogan made his arrival in Japan. Hogan will officially be working the WRESTLE-1 show on 1/19 and it will be his first match in Japan since facing Tatsumi Fujinami back on 1/4/94 at the Tokyo Dome. Nobody knew that Hogan would be arriving in Japan, but what is known is that he will be wrestling in a huge match on the show. Bill Goldberg will also be working the show, and will be forming a tag team with AJPW’s Keiji Muto. Their opponents are yet to be named, but current rumors are going around that it may be Hogan and Naoya Ogawa, which would be interesting MMANews.com
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted January 10, 2003 Hopefully it won't turn into "an all out shoot brother" again.
Guest NoSelfWorth Report post Posted January 10, 2003 Hogan could kick all their asses, being the master shooter that he is.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted January 10, 2003 So Hogan is done with WWE?
Guest NoSelfWorth Report post Posted January 10, 2003 His contract expires on the 25 of January. He's worked his contracted dates though, so he may use that as an out to wrestle in Japan.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted January 10, 2003 So Hogan is done with WWE? I really hope not. Passing out in Lesnar's bearhug is no way to end that career. A Wrestlemania rematch with the Rock was my hope but I don't see that happening now that he has gone to Japan.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted January 10, 2003 Yeah, Hogan definately needs to have at least one final WWE apperance. It just doesn't seem right.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted January 10, 2003 Wonder if we can trade Hogan to Japan forever. I'd take a Godzilla suit from the original movie in trade for Hogan. Hell i'd settle for a bottle of Sake in trade for Hogan.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted January 10, 2003 will Hogan bust out with the preminum moveset of Enziguri and Cross Arm Breaker? Will we see a Shining Red&Yellow Legdrop?
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted January 10, 2003 US and Japan continue their cold war of sending shitty products to each other. You want to send that yellow little bastard Pikachu to us? Here, take this BIG ORANGE BASTARD!! And there is plenty more where that came from.
Guest buffybeast Report post Posted January 10, 2003 You want to send that yellow little bastard Pikachu to us? Here, take this BIG ORANGE BASTARD!! What's wrong with Pikachu? I think he's cute unlike the original Orange Goblin Hogan. Why can't we throw in an extra incentive like HHH with that trade?
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted January 10, 2003 A packaged deal. Hogan, HHH, Batista, and Nathan Jones.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted January 10, 2003 is the WWE getting anything in exchange? so what over the hill aging Japanese wrestler will show up on WWE tv? Will Doc Death return to Raw in a swerve as Vince promotes him as Stone Cold Steve Williams Version 2?
Guest RedJed Report post Posted January 10, 2003 God, the thought of Hogan and Muto working any kind of spots against each other is scary.
