Predictions for the RAW after Wrestlemania

Recommended Posts

Guest Army Eye

The RAW right after Wrestlemania is obviously when some new storylines will be put into place.  Last year of course was the Two Man Power Trip being formed, and I don't really remember what else.  What direction do you think they'll go in?

Here's some thing I see possibly happening:

- NWO gets taken up a notch.  Either a new member gets added, and/or some kind of new twist is added to the angle.  I think what we've seen in the first month of the NWO is just  a warmup.

-Booker T face turn.  This is a natural move.  He'll be laying down for Edge at Wrestlemania, the next night he should turn face.  Have the NWO offer him a membership and he declines, or else have him make a save for a babyface getting beat down by the NWO.  Booker T punking out an NWO guy and then hitting the spinaroonie?  I guarantee a huge pop.

-Hardys heel turn?  Something needs to be done with the dead tag scene.  Have the Hardys turn on Lita and go heel (most of their pop is due to Lita anyway), or else make a couple whole new teams and push them.

-More Lance Storm.  I think we'll see more of Storm after Wrestlemania.  Management has to like what they have seen from him. He should see more frequent TV appearances and be a solid midcard heel.

-I don't expect the split to take place that Monday, or even officially announced, but the seeds may be planted for the angle that eventually causes the split.  What that may be is tough to say.  Maybe Flair books a defense for JUST the "world" title or just the WWF title and the titles get split up that way.

Something happens at WrestleMania that puts the NWO over the edge, and brings Flair to the split.

i can see a face turn for booker coming very soon, and also a heel turn for edge, though that will happen once the wwf leaves canada.  i would expect the nWo to go after trips, and for angle and jericho to get into a fued (steph or world title, there are 2 motivations for this one).  rvd *should* be IC champ, and will probably start elevating the belt, possibly against the heel-turned edge down the line, or lance storm.  i expect christian to get involved with something and perhaps solidify his face turn.  apart from that i dunno, and there is much too much here to happen in a single show anyway.

Ok, everything everyone said here seems logical so I think the WWF will go a different route.

-Booker T will continue to be a heel setting up a run against DDP for the Euro championship.

- Lance Storm will continue to do the job. Probably to Angle so that he can get a 'win' after jobbing to Kane at mania. Yes, heel on heel, but it's Canada right?

- The NWO will be devalued and will be part of bad comedy skits and offer no threat at all.

-BillyChuck will beat some makeshift team after winning the Mania match keeping the tag scene stale.

-HHH will be the champion and him and Steph gloat about the Mania swerve. blah blah blah, He beats Jericho in a rematch

-Stone Cold drinks beer while the Rock starts a program with someone like Christian.

-The split will NOT be mentioned.

-RVD, who should be IC champ, battles Test.

I see nWo still causing trouble for Austin

I see Stephanie still stealing the spot-light from champ whoever that will be.

I see midcard becoming stale with crazy comedy skits Chavo likes tacos Hurricane likes hotpockets

I see the split will never happen since the writers have no idea of how to make so......Stephanie wants here own show calls it Divas.

Sadly...Goodhelmet's list looks like something I'd see on Raw.

If goodhelmet's list comes true...then I guess the "little internet world" was right. Vince doesn't know what the problem is.

I would assume that Rock would need time off to do promotional work for his movie.  This would make another beatdown in order.  That way, Hogan can get some heat back from losing the night before.

The overall product should improve as many of the wrestlers that are currently on injured reserve should be coming back.  Triple H win probably win the titles at Wrestlemania and Stephanie will claim one of the belts as part of the "50/50" split from the divorce proceedings.  This will initiate the long-awaited split.  As far as the NWO is concerned, they will have outlived their usefulness after Wrestlemania, so they will probably be jobbed out and henceforth be made into comedy acts.

Oh god...I never thought of Steph claiming 50% ownership of the belts.

That would set a new all time wrestling low.

Do you think that like 100 years from now wrestling will come full circle and people will be looking back at the current days (in their title histories in the PWI almanac on sales now!) and say:   What the fuck were they thinking?

I bet they do.

Why did I just shill for PWI?

Weirder things have happened before, so Steph claiming 50% ownership of the titles wouldn't be a shock.

No...but it would be the biggest business exposing moment in the history of the sport.  How can a title mean anything after that?

Titles don't mean much anymore. The business has been exposed for years, if Steph claims 50% ownership, it would be somewhat stupid, but casual fans won't think about it being "the biggest business exposing moment".

I thikn they would.

There are certain moments in Wrestling that will make the casual fan turn it off and say "this has gotten too stupid".

I feel that would be one of those moments.

If anyone is left to see it.

Judging from the live Smackdown rating...there won't be.

God, I hope that doesn't happen with Steph claiming ownership of the belts, that would be beyond lame.

Raw after Mania probably won't bring about much of anything new, more than anything just get heat back on guys in the fallout.

*Opening segment will be with the Rock talking about how he beat Hogan, yadayada.

*The NWO will probably do something to injure Rock AGAIN so he can miss more time, and so that Hogan can get his heat back from Mania. They might even have a rematch on this show as the ME. If they wanted to be real retarded, they could rehash the Montreal incident AGAIN since they are in the exact location for Raw that night.

*Flair and Vince will probably get back into it, perhaps due to Vince costing Flair the win over Taker at Mania. Starts of the split happening.

*If Jericho wins, not much focus will be on him. Maybe a short promo about "I proved you all wrong" and he is unstoppable. If he loses at Mania, he'll pull an angle and be bad-ass for awhile, attack a few people in the back or something.

*A LW/CW match..........I hope

*Trish loses the Women's title back to Jazz, after winning it at Mania the night before.

*HHH and Steph gets lot of airtime, one way or another.

*Austin's only appearence will be saving the Rock at the end of the show, clearing the ring of the NWO.
