Give me ideas people, the first person to reply with a movie that I have not seen, I will download it or rent it and review it or give my opinions on it. Please make it a good film though, I don't want to wast my time with trash thank you very much.

Don't know if you've seen it, but... Cannibal! The Musical. That's a good one.

I'll watch it ASAP, as soon as I have it up and running. I don't know where to find Nekromantik however.

Night of the Hunter

Make sure it's the original and not the Lifetime produced remake.

"O"?

argh that movie was one big ball of putrid shit. Bunch of crappy actors who's only saving grace was that it's hard to totally kill a movie based on Shakespeare.

And alot of other people do as well. After finally seeing it i really don't understand why.

I'm a tiny bit biased because i despise Josh Hartnett. However I found him to be decent in The Virgin Suicides so my dislike of him doesn't totally blind me.

Noises Off or Zapped!.

O had its moments, but I kept wondering how the movie would've fared if they'd actually gotten competent actors.

The Salton Sea ... stars Val Kilmer, about meth users. Much better than I'd anticipated.

Yes, LaParka, Head is the Monkees movie and one of my all time favorites. Trippiest damn thing you will ever see and you need to see it about a half dozen times before you start understanding it. Real genius filmmaking actually and one of the first movies to blatantly deal with star text.

But the original's got that whole bizarro-Charles In Charge vibe going for it.

And what was up with the Key club?

Still, it's comforting knowing I'm not the only one who's seen and enjoyed these movies.

The Convent

If you dig Evil Dead II, you'll dig The Convent. Same style of comedic horror, only The Convent is a lot wittier with the dialogue.

"My brother's going to be the new Antichrist? MOM'S GONNA BE PISSED!"

And any movie where Coolio plays a cop that shoots randomly at a white girl HAS to be seen...

Guest Smell the ratings!!!

Stir of Echos.

An awesome ghost story that got wiped out of existence because it came out right after The Sixth Sense.

There's a scene in an empty movie theatre which I think is one of the best ever, period.

Rent Akira Kurosawa's Ikiru, probably the best movie I've ever seen.

Stir Of Echoes is definitely 100x cooler and spookier than The Sixth Sense.

I forgot totally about this, sorry! I downloaded, and watched this movie almost as soon as I read your post. I know many don't like it, but I really enjoyed it for some reason. It entertained me, in a musical Mel Brooks sort of way. I don't know about all of you, but Snowman is classic, lol.

Ok, I just located this online, and I'm going to download it. It sounds horrible, heh, but I'll give it a whirl anyhow.

Ok, if you even care, out of the ones mentiond so far I'm also going to download/rent and watch...

1) Night of the Hunter (1955)

2) The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence

3) The Searchers

4) The Salton Sea

5) Cross of Iron

6) Ikiru

...as for the others, I have either already seen them, or they do not look all that worthwhile to me, if I'm wrong let me know heh. I saw The Cube the other night on IFC actually, and LOVED it. I don't know why, but I thought that was a very good film. I loved it so much, I recently downloaded Cube II: Hypercube. I also saw Stir of Echo's, in the theater on this one, and I loved it also. It was so underrated, and had The Sixth Sense not come out around the same time, I think more people would praist Echo's, much more than they do now.

You've already seen The Convent, or you don't feel like it?

It's a really good horror/comedy, along the same lines as Evil Dead II and Dead Alive. The goth kids are fucking hilarious, too.

(to goth kid) "Hey...don't you work at the ice cream shoppe?"

Ok, honestly, I forgot to add that one to my list. As long as it's SOMETHING along the lines of an Evil Dead, I'll check it out also.

I'm going to go the action and comedy route and suggest Drive or Fraternity Vacation, respectively.
