Guest Polish_Rifle Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 It's pretty much a nobrainer that Shaq is an idiot and will never be the sharpest tool in the shed..however, there is a double standard because I remember some golfer joking about fried chicken and soul food when Tiger Woods won some tournament and the media just went off on the guy. If Yao would have come out and busted some ebonics poking fun at black people, he would be public enemy #1.

I do agree with the person who said, "If Yao doesn't care, neither should we" .. BUT, Shaq is just getting damn annoying.

I've been thinking about it, and the answer is now pretty clear: Shaq has been THE name center in the NBA since he came in. Now, some rookie comes in and steals all his heat. So SHHHaq does what any threatened star tries to do: he tries to bury Yao. But since it's Shaq, and his promo skills are quite lacking, it backfires, bigtime. He needs more lessons from HHHe who is a pro at burying potential stars.
