Guest TajiriMark Report post Posted January 11, 2003 I have a quick question for anyone who owns any of the WWF Superstar DVDs. I have the "Mick Foley: Hard Knocks and Cheap Pops" DVD and "Undertaker: This Is My Yard" DVD, but have yet to open and watch them. My question is, on the extra matches, do all the matches have the entrances of the wrestlers before the match starts? ~Pac
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted January 11, 2003 Yes- I believe on MF:HK and CP it has the entrances
Guest Annoyed Grunt Report post Posted January 11, 2003 On the Foley disc, the entrances are gone from the Austin/Dude Love match because they took 10-15 minutes.
Guest TajiriMark Report post Posted January 11, 2003 Very awesome, thanks alot Bob and Annoyed Grunt. Besides the Austin-Dude Love match, do all the others have entrances? Also, what matches are on the extras for the Mick Foley DVD? I remember the Shawn Michaels vs. Mankind match from IYH: Mind Games, Mankind vs. Rock from Halftime Heat, Dude Love vs. Steve Austin from Unforgiven 1998, and the Al Snow vs. Big Bossman Kennel in a Cell Match from Unforgiven 1999 (I think) with Mick Foley and Kevin Kelly commentating. Was there 1 more that I can't think of? I don't remember, but I thought when I last read it that there were 5 extra matches.
Guest Bruiser Chong Report post Posted January 11, 2003 On the Foley disc, the entrances are gone from the Austin/Dude Love match because they took 10-15 minutes. What are you talking about? The intros for that match are there in full, with the exception of half of Dude's entrance. Things are joined when McMahon, Dude and the Stooges are in the ring. They go through the announcements and Austin's full entrance. As far as the other stuff goes, it's pretty much all there, except for the Mind Games match, which joins things with Mankind down at ringside in the casket. I believe on the Taker disc that everything is there, except for the HIAC match, which joins things right at Taker's entrance. *Edit* Also, what matches are on the extras for the Mick Foley DVD? You're missing Austin vs. Mankind from the night after Survivor Series '96.

No, the entrances aren't full because Vince, Patterson, and Brisco all got individual entrances with suck up intros for all for the live match, but on the DVD, they're cut out. Guest Bruiser Chong Report post Posted January 11, 2003 Ah yes I forgot that, but AG made it sound like everything was cut out, when I guess only half of it was.
Guest TajiriMark Report post Posted January 11, 2003 For the Mind Games match on the Mick Foley DVD, does the match begin on the disc before the referee rings the bell for the match to start or is the match JIP on the DVD? When you said it joins the match with Mankind down at ringside in the casket, I got confused...do you mean when Mankind is coming down the aisle for his entrance to the match and passes by the casket or do you mean the match has already started with him in the casket. Secondly, I haven't seen the match since 1996, but I don't even remember there being a casket at ringside during the match..can someone remind me of why it was there? All your help is greatly appreciated, just wanna be clear on the extras when I watch the DVD. ~Pac
Guest Bruiser Chong Report post Posted January 11, 2003 It's joined before Michaels even comes down to the ring. Paul Bearer rolls the casket down to ringside and once he's down there, he lifts the top and Mankind pops out. The casket it at ringside the whole time if you recall, as the Undertaker would later come out of there following the DQ finish involving Vader.
Guest TajiriMark Report post Posted January 11, 2003 Oh, awesome Bruiser, I didn't remember that. Thanks for replying and letting me know that, along with the joining of the match while Mankind is making his entrance and before Shawn does. Thanks so much to everyone that replied to this thread, I really appreciate the help! ~Pac
Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted January 12, 2003 Not to sounds like a jerk, but why don't you just watch them to see for yourself?
Guest TajiriMark Report post Posted January 12, 2003 Oh, I just wanted to ask so I know what to expect (if they were the full matches or not) when I do get a chance to watch them.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted January 12, 2003 You get the full matches for everything. The Austin v. Mankind match maybe not be in full just because there was a commercial break- but I'm not 100% sure
