He's more famous for his stint as a color commentator, which he was GREAT at, than his wrestling. He also did color commentary with Mean Gene on the spoof movie Repossessed.

I was just telling you what you wanted to know, because it's not unrealistic to think that fans today have no memory of Ventura as a former WWF wrestler. They mention him being a wrestler all the time, but don't always mention WWF. Besides, how many other Jessie's are there in wrestling?

I could care less who calls the Rumble....it's either the over the top babyface Jim Ross with his once great and now unenthused Jerry Lawler...or the over the top babyface Michael Cole and his always stiff on the mic buddy Tazz. Tazz still doesn't sound comfy at the job...tends to just sound like a dumb ass most of the time

He has to keep Cole in line, explain psych, point out things in the matches, and does lots of stupid lines that sound funny for the color. It's like he's doing both jobs at once, whereas everyone else can hardly do one at this point.
