What do you do?

Guest The Old Me

It would be nice to know what everyone is up to around here. I work for a collections department at a local bank. I call people who are past due, send them letters, sue them, repo their cars or even forclose on their homes. Needless to say, you have to have a good sense of humor to have my job. And I've got a thousand crazy ass stories to boot.

Where do you work, or go to school etc??

Do you tell people "what's mine is mine, and what's yours is mine too!" ?

I do network administration for a state government agency, but I'm finishing my degree after hours.

My favorite:

Delinquent Customer: we don't have the money. ya can't get blood from a turnip ya know.

me: The bank didn't write a loan to a turnip.

I'm going to be taking the A+ certification class in a month.

I'm a 'cashier' or 'checkout monkey' and only part time, which leaves me ample time to get drunk. I love having parents who don't mind when i go to university. I'm drunk right now, if that explains anything.

Currently unemployed. I leave in August to begin University as a Pastoral Ministry major (with a minor in Video Production). I need a part time job to put some money up, though. I can't wait for school.

Yes, I'm aware that at 19, I should have gone to college sooner.

I work at a local record store. It's boring, usually.

Which one? I'm in your neck of the woods every now and then.

I'm in my first year of studies at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, but when I'm at home and they need me, I work part-time in the meat department of a local grocery store. I just *love* it, too...

RTO CDs, in Land O' Lakes. I'm a fair clip away from Tampa actually, but that's the closest city people have heard of.

School... but I'm barely doing that. Some stuff comes naturally, some doesn't, so I don't really try my hardest. I guess I can wait until I turn freshman.

College frosh, majoring in broadcast journalism with a minor in something once I get a new academic advisor (I pissed off my current one. only took a semester) I'm also the Internet Director for the campus radio station, so I sit around an office for six hours a week, maybe update the site or take some pictures, and get (little) money for it. I also DJ and do some commentary for the basketball broadcasts.

Basically, I like attention.
