Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted January 13, 2003 I supervise a callcenter at a startup software company in silicon valley. The keyword is startup. We have been developing the software for 2 years and are just starting to get customers. So for 2 years I have been supervising 1 person, myself. The good: the fridge is always full of drinks and snacks the IT guy hooked me up with a dvd player for my laptop so I watch movies all day I share an office with a really cool guy and we have a tv/vcr combo and a microwave, and he likes buying dvds so we are always watching something new my boss lets us work very independent so our dvd viewing is rarely interrupted the bad: I don't really feel like I am accomplishing anything there are no jobs out there so I have to stay put I work 6-3 so I have to get up at 4am to commute

Guest hardyz1 Report post Posted January 14, 2003 Going to school for networking. Working part time at my mom's shitty store that the bitch just had to fucking open and take a trip to the poor house even though she had a steady job managing a sub shop. Bitch. Just today she borrowed $450 from me to pay a couple of her bills. I would get another job, but that wouldn't work. I'm at school from 8:00 to 3:00, and if I had a job somewhere else, I couldn't drive home, because I have a "daylight driving only" restriction on my license due to my vision. What's that? You don't care? Sorry. When I win the lottery/move out and get a real job, I'll quit whining.

Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted January 19, 2003 I'm a 'cashier' or 'checkout monkey' and only part time, which leaves me ample time to get drunk. I love having parents who don't mind when i go to university. I'm drunk right now, if that explains anything. so your in college? ah, those were the days. careless, no responsibility, no steady job. seems like a long time ago. nope. That's all I'm doing right now. I'm probably gonna go for a supervising job there soon, more cash. But I'm not going to college for at least another year.
