Guest ant_7000 Report post Posted January 16, 2003 Seeing Buffer and Carl Lewis involve in this was sad. I like how the chimp started posing like he won or something.
Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2003 We get 'Man v. Beast' here in Kansas City at 10:30 thanks to a K-State/Colorado basketball game. I'll tape it. This sounds priceless.

Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2003 We're just seeing this here in Kansas City. Man.. this is a downer. I think the producers screwed mankind. Just imagine if animals focused on pulling airplanes, eating hot dogs, running and tug of war. They'd take over the world. the sprinter runs three times against two beasts the sumo is manhandled by the orangutan we only get 44 midgets and not the guaranteed 50 midgets. Did six of them fail to show up? and none of them have weight training, nor the size of the elephant It says alot about the special when you don't even rig it to finish 4-3 in one way. It finished 4-2 in favor of the Beasts. I'm holding out hope for "Man v. Beast II". Maybe mankind could get off our butts and defeat those arrogant animals. This is a sad night for mankind. As I turn the VCR off, I am stunned. "They have a new 10,000 Pyramid Show?" Don't worry Midgets, you tried your hardest. If you only had six more people. We'll beat the beasts next time! Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted January 16, 2003 Holy Christ that was awful. I love how they'd overuse the word BEAST! on the friggin monkey. And they tried to make it sound like the animals had a gameplan and tried to make you think the bear was going to jump the little guy. I didn't even stick around for the midgets
Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2003 I cracked up when they mentioned the idea of the bear mauling the little guy. It'd be priceless, and yet so tragic. As for the midgets, they could have done it if they had all 50 instead of 44 midgets

Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2003 you never know how strong a midget could be It was close at the end, considering the circumstances of it all
Guest treble charged Report post Posted January 16, 2003 While I didn't see the show, I did see Scotsman's review of it on his website, and I ripped this screen shot from there, as I found it absolutely hilarious:
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted January 16, 2003 They made it seem like the BEASTS! were hellbent on actually beating the humans, when they were really just doing what came unnatural. Also I loved how they described the BEASTS! times in the sprint.... UNKNOWN, they made it sound like it was spooky and shit. God I hope nohting like that airs again
Guest Choken One Report post Posted January 16, 2003 Yeah, The Bear was Confused as fuck watching Kobyashi eat the hot dogs, going what the fuck is he rushing for? Imagine how quick a bear could eat 50 dogs when aware it's a challenge. I tlooked like Appitizers for him.
Guest Army Eye Report post Posted January 16, 2003 While I didn't see the show, I did see Scotsman's review of it on his website, and I ripped this screen shot from there, as I found it absolutely hilarious: LOL. Yes this was Carl Lewis giving his 'keys to victory' for the man vs. zebra race and actually keeping a straight face when he says "the zebra needs to realize that this is actually a race". How is this not one of the best shows ever? Don't forget Michael Buffer.. LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET READY TO EAT THE MEAT!!!
Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2003 If that Zebra forgot he was in a race and he took a dump, then Mankind could have won. The forgotten 7th event: High jumper v. kangraroo. I figure that the kangaroo won, if mankind won, it would have made the special and the Midgets v. Elephant event would be 7th
Guest CanadianChris Report post Posted January 16, 2003 I heard somewhere that they had some World's Strongest Man dude coaching the midgets, and that his advice was "Stay low to the ground."
