Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted January 15, 2003 Reading this thread gives me MAD flashbacks of hide & seek, dodgeball, and every other cool game and toy we had... the 80s did rule ...even though some people deny it now Damn straight! And I know the games are more advanced now...but arcades kicked way more ass when I was a kid

Guest RobJohnstone Report post Posted January 15, 2003 flyboy, you know that's not true. Jesus was the coolest person ever. --Rob
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Report post Posted January 15, 2003 Jesus was many things, but cool was not one of them.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted January 15, 2003 Well, I was cool enough to beat Rob in Madden 2003. Now, that I want to beat him again.. he makes up excuses that his game doesn't work suddenly. Sure, Rob.
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted January 15, 2003 I blame it all on the illegalization of DODGEBALL in school gym classes. I am glad I am not around for that. I LOVED dodgeball. It was the one game I could play. Some of my best grade school memories were being the last guy on my team in dodge ball. Being someone who could not catch well, I had to dodge the ball, ergo, when I was the last guy left, I would put on a theatrical show for my classmates with the ball BARELY missing me on several occasions. I even received ovations because of my superb ability at dodging the ball. Hearing they banned it, saddens me greatly. That was one of my favourite games of all time. Guest SP-1 Report post Posted January 15, 2003 I dunno, RatsMilk. Let's step back and look at this: Jesus pissed off the Jews and the people in general to the point that they pursuaded Pilate, a representative of Rome, to crucify him instead of a murderer. You'd think most "rebels" and "goths" and whatever else would love a guy like that.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted January 15, 2003 I'm sorry Will, but Football > Dodgeball. Although, playing Dodgeball in PE was the shit.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted January 15, 2003 Dodgeball was the shit, as long as it was kept clean with no head shots there should have been no problem with it. People bitch that it gave advantages to stronger and faster students and was such a bitch for ones who weren't...THAT'S HOW SCHOOL IS! People don't bitch about math the same way, no one says "it puts the dumber kids at a disadvantage" I'm trying to make a good point but I can't find the right words for it
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted January 15, 2003 You see how cool I am? I make ONE comment and now everything is discussing it. Bow down, damnit.
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Report post Posted January 15, 2003 Eh, depends on your definition of cool. I doubt Jesus wore his sunglasses at night, or knew how to breakdance. I doubt he'd have been interested in such matters anyway.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted January 15, 2003 Dodgeball was the shit, as long as it was kept clean with no head shots there should have been no problem with it. That's the only problem I had with dodgeball. If I got hit in the head, I felt like beating the hell out of someone.

Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Report post Posted January 15, 2003 I've seen more than a few fights break out at school over dodgeball. We always called it socco, by the way.
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted January 15, 2003 I'm 15, and I don't like my generation at all. Example: I went to a New Year's Eve party, and this sleazy grade 12 started hitting on me. The conversation went something like this: Him: So you have a boyfriend? Me: Um, no. Him: When did you have your last boyfriend Me: I've never *had* a boyfriend Him: What? BUt your hot and your 15! I mean WTF? Is it that abnormal to not have a boyfriend when your in grade 10? My lord, kids grow up to fast these days...

I wasn't a headhunter though. I liked Flickerball in gym class...my team dominated at that

Guest Jack Tunney Report post Posted January 15, 2003 I remember when I was a little kid in the early to mid 90's my freinds and I would play manhunt every night in the Summer. These days little kids just sit outside and talk about smoking and "fucking girls with dildos" (an actual quote from a kid on my street). And as cool as the 80's were, the 90's werent that bad.Especially 1994.
