Guest Johnson1620 Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 Yes you heard me right. I just got 700 Nintendo games with the emulator for the NES. The problem is I can't use my controller. Does anybody have an answer for that?
Guest EQ Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 What kind of controller? A PC gamepad? If that's what you have, you should be able to configure whatever emulator you have to use it. Or at least I was able to. FYI, there's this thing called an Adaptoid that allows you to plug an N64 controller into your USB port. I bought one, and it works GREAT! I love the thing. I use it for all my old school emulated games, and you can even map the buttons to keys on the keyboard. So, I've also been using it to control my winamp and DVD player when I'm not sitting in front of the computer.

It is really pissin me off!
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 It's a NES emulator, which means it has TWO GOD DAMN BUTTONS. Is it really that much of an inconvinience (don't bother pointing out the fact i cannot spell right now, 7 odd drinks in one hour will do that to a man) to use your computer keyboard?

It.s not the buttons, it's the damn arrow keys that I am supposed to use a a control pad. Plus I have to use my opposite hands then a would on a controller.
Guest Dace59 Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 I find it very easy to use the arrow keys as the D-pad.
Guest Johnson1620 Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 Problem solved, I just got an emulator that supports controllers.
