Guest RSPWFAQ Report post Posted March 10, 2002 After a bunch of people e-mailed me about links on the old tape review pages mysteriously disappearing, I decided to start the conversion process that I've been putting off for a while. So you'll now note that the "tape reviews" link on the left side of the page points to a databased file rather than the old Smarks link. In turn all the links within the 2002 and 2001 sections now point directly to the databased versions rather than the old text versions, and over the next couple of weeks I'm going to go through the incredibly mundane and mind-numbingly boring task of converting all the old pages from the old /tapereviews links into /anmviewer links, thus sparing you the pain of using the search engine to find them. If you'd like to help with this little project, drop me an e-mail and I'll give you a login code and instructions, but be warned -- you'll have to go through the search engine and look up the article IDs one-by-one and then redo the code for the new page, so if you're not into breathtakingly boring drudge-work, don't bother. Speaking of login codes, any idea why the login code you gave me to put up the TV archives suddenly stopped working in January? I had half the archive into the database when the site started having problems mid-January (when the site was moved to a mirror location) and I couldn't access the database through the link you sent me. When the site was back to normal at the end of the month, I tried to login and found the login code rejected. I emailed you about this early in Feb. but I never got a response back from you. Guest teke184 Report post Posted March 20, 2002 When the site is back to normal, is there any chance of getting someone to redo some of the links in the Tape Reviews section? Some of the PPVs, typically ones written (or re-written) since mid-2001, don't want to come up unless you use the link produced by the search engine. The affected PPVs include IYH: International Incident, IYH: It's Time, Rumble 2002, and No Way Out 2002, although there are some I'm forgetting..
