Guest HellSpawn Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 Aye True Believers! Recently I began to read Alias by Bendis, OMG is really good, after 4/5 issues (1,6,10,17,18) this book is my new FAVORITE comic. So, I got some questions. Oh well, 1st, some thanx... I remember one of you guys told me about some good issues, and told me about #6, I got it... good one, thanx for the info. Back to the subject... Im a lucky guy and I can find ALL the issues at cover price on my local comic store. But I also read in Fourth rail about a HC with 1-9, and Im think it could be a good deal if I order the HC and later pick the rest of the series. Or you think is better if I got the issues one by one ? If you think about "collectible" thing, sorry, it looks like is not a HOT book down here... in fact, very few guys in a mexican forum picked Alias on the Best of 2002 list, AND everyone of them, well, everyone but me, place Alias in the Worst stuff !!! So, I guess Is a mixed emotions thing here, comic fans hate the serie so I can get the books easily, BUT, it wont be too HOT because its a hated book.... Oh well, whatever, is a good comic.
Guest areacode212 Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 I say pick up all the issues at cover price. I'm too tired to do any math, but more than likely, they'll come out to less than the HC costs, especially since you already have 1 & 6.
Guest Sassquatch Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 Buy the book by single issues. If you get strapped for cash along the way, just pick up the TPB with the story in it once you get enough cash.
Guest Vyce Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 This is a hated book? Really. Why would that be, I'm wondering. I like the book just fine.
