Guest wwF1587 Report post Posted January 17, 2003 ok... it looks and sounds really sweet but is it worth... i am kinda new to the sim business and to me the only problem with 3000 was when you did soo many disasters it made the camera go crazy and you could never really focus on one disaster (unless someone has a tip).. anyone have it yet? Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted January 17, 2003 I don't think they did the #1 thing that everyone wanted them to do with it..actually be able to walk around a 3D city..they just upgraded the graphics a slight bit and made new "Features" that Im sure don't really add that much to it from Sim City 3000. Sorta like Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, but somehow RTC2 is still fun and addictive.. Speaking of Park Tycoons, I just saw a review for.. TRAILER PARK TYCOON.. Guest kkktookmybabyaway Report post Posted January 17, 2003 I'm not a Sims fan (just not my thing, but I can see the attraction to it), so maybe they already have this out. If there will be a Trailer Park Tycoon, surely there must be a Section 8/Ghetto Landlord tycoon. It'd be awesome if you can control the government-produced crack shipments to make a killing off lowered property values, then selling these refurbished lots for a mint... Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted January 18, 2003 I remember my first ever sim experience. It was in the 6th grade(gosh that was 7 years ago!) and it was a computer game called Dino Park Tycoon. Man that game ruled all. Along with Amazon Trail,Oregon Trail, Lemmings, and Storybook Weaver. Man I love the simple old school games.
Guest The Electrifyer Report post Posted January 21, 2003 I saw the commercial and read te reviews for this game. It looks awesome and after the exams are over this week, I'll probably pick it up.
Guest Lil Naitch Report post Posted January 27, 2003 Man, I remember Oregon Trail! last time I played that was 1991 man I'm old. Incidently, is anybody else pissed with how hard it is to lay highways? I can't even make turns! And I want SimCasino. That would rock
Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted January 27, 2003 They might as well make a SimProWrestling while they at it.
