Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted March 17, 2002 From what I've heard he's been telling people he's in his prime. So let's add delusional to that list.

Guest HBK16 Report post Posted March 17, 2002 WOW. I was thinking that more people would like him than dislike him. I thought he was great when he was in the WWF. I loved him. I loved cheering for him. I would have killed to see him live.
Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted March 17, 2002 Hulk Hogan is really starting to look like Superstar Billy Graham.
Guest buffybeast Report post Posted March 18, 2002 If we all hate him, then why did all of Toronto cheer like crazy for the old man last night? That baffled me.....
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted March 18, 2002 I was pretty shocked with the response that Hogan got last night. It was great to hear JR trying to cover for it the best they could. The should have played "Real American" last night when he was posing though.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Report post Posted March 18, 2002 Nostalgia. bottom line. when vince starts shoving Hogan down our throats again, the fans will then remember what 1993 was like. I was a Hogan mark. My uncles introduced me to wrestling, and they're still hogan marks. Until I started watching Bret and flair, I never turned to Hogan ever again. my first independent thought: WrestleMania IX...Hogan wins the title..."What the fuck just happened?" Guest converge241 Report post Posted March 18, 2002 The should have played "Real American" last night when he was posing though. yeah, what was up with that? they play Rock's song 3 times? maybe the stooges own the rights to it, lol I have a little more respect for Hogan. You can tell he was hurting because he cant sell that well
Guest MARTYEWR Report post Posted March 18, 2002 I WAS a Hogan fan when I was a kid, but I was a total mark too. ####, I HATED it when Randy Savage took out Ricky Steamboat, ring bell and all. I never once thought about how things work back then, I just simply enjoyed the shows. These days for me, it's much different. Fact is, since the early 90s, I've kinda figured out how things work and since late '97, I've seen more shoot interviews and other things that expose the business than I care to remember. Of course, one of those things that I realize is how Hogan was always booked to win in the 80s and that if he was fighting another big man, the other guy would bump all over the place and do all the work. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy Hogan put over the Rock last night. But there are things that I've learned over the years that can't get me up to seeing him like I did when I was a kid. Also, his character is old, but that's another issue.
Guest buffybeast Report post Posted March 18, 2002 "Nostalgia. bottom line. when vince starts shoving Hogan down our throats again, the fans will then remember what 1993 was like." How long do you think that will take?
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted March 18, 2002 Hogan broke his ribs earlier in the week? Hmm that explains why he looked like he was in pain after the match. When he went to shake Rock's hand he was holding his side and the hand he went to shake with was shaking badly for a moment. I still don't like him and hope he is off TV soon, but if he did wrestle while in pain i'll give him more respect. Oh and as far as the topic of this thread. I was a big Hogan fan as a kid in the mid 80's and even got pissed off when Warrior beat him...i'm so ashamed :hangs head:. However that was a long time ago and i was just child, now Hogan just sickens me.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 18, 2002 I think Hogan is fairly laughable, but at least he put Rock over clean. That's *something*.
