New Cheech and Chong Movie!!!

A new Cheech & Chong movie, titled Cheech and Chong Get Blunt, is apparently in the works. Tommy Chong and Cheech Marin will return while the script is being done by Chong's daughter, Rae Dawn Chong.

 

The film will be about Cheech & Chong preaching anti-drug messages to a youth boy's home as part of their required community service.

This is so awesome! I love all the Cheech and Chong movies, and this will be the first I'll get to see in the theater. I was really disheartened when I heard Cheech mention on their E! True Hollywood Story that they most likely wouldn't do another movie, but I guess he reconsidered.

Yeah, because we know how PC the Cheech & Chong movies ALWAYS are...

 

Considering that we'll probably end up seeing Cheech and Chong getting stoned more than they'll be preaching anti-drug messages, or at least Chong getting all fucked up while Cheech tries to be serious, I'm for it.

 

I didn't know Rae Dawn Chong was Tommy's daughter...she's in a few b-movies I absolutely love (Commando, Tales From The Dark Side: The Movie)...

Much like the rest of their films, it'll probally suck. Worst series of movies I've ever saw.

I know none of their movies were PC. But that was the late 70's/early 80's when both stars were partaking in the lifestlye and were proud of it.

 

But if you think this will have the same feel as those movies you're nuts. Tommy Chong is the same guy as he's always been, but Cheech isn't anything like he was in the movies now.

 

Cheech is a now an "legit actor" who has tried to put his drug movie past behind him. You guys honestly expect him to make a new movie about getting high and enjoying drugs? It'll have a PC vibe to it and will be horrible.
