Inspired by DANDY's ~! thread...

 

What if I want to GAIN weight?, I'm about 5'7, 120 pounds but I'm not skinny or anything, and I want to put on some muscle, or maybe put on a bit of muscle and a lot of cardio... I REALLY don't know where to start.

I used to be rail thin. Then I started working out five or six days a week, targeting different muscle groups each day. I suggest you pick up a book called Getting Stronger by Bill Pearl. It has a variety of exercises for all the key muscle groups. It's worked very well for me. Also eat foods that are high in protein and use proper nutritional supplements. (Duh!). If you ever feel like eating a late night snack, make sure that snack is a protein bar.

 

Are you mostly 120 lbs of fat? If so then you'll also need to do a fair amount of cardio. Playing a sport would be a good place to start.

I'd say yes, but i'm not all fat, I do have some muscle, but I'm pretty sure my strength/muscle mass is sub-par.

You want lots of food high in protein. When I was lifting, I was using creatine and drinking Myoplex, which was a brand of protein shake. I drank it twice a day (I really didn't even think it was bad) and it helped along with increasing my protein and carbohydrates in my meals.

Oh yeah, about gaining weight. Go to GNC and get that Creatine shit, it works wonders.
