And The Mummy Returns was good stupid fun. I was going in for nothing but explosions and mummies and blah, and got it. I went into Blade II expecting pretty much the same thing (change mummies with vampires), but it just wasn't good. At all. Like I said, the fight scenes were pretty lackluster, it got too stupid for a stupid action movie at some points, I couldn't give two shits about the villain... it just did everything wrong. Edit: And even though this is just nitpicking, was anyone else bothered by the fact that in Blade, the vampires dissolved into sparks and ash which was cool, but in Blade II, the vampires explodes into exploding balls of exploding fire and exploding sparks and exploding ash that exploded, when Blade was getting Whistler back? Just irked me.
