Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted January 19, 2003 Here's how it works. I list three mvies as is if there was some topic like "Greatest Movie Ever" and you guys guess what the topic is. Here's a sample question: 1. Army of Darkness 2. Casablanca 3. Pulp Fiction Answer: Most Quoteable Movie. It makes you think about the relationships between movies to discover what the topic is. Anyone want to start?
Guest areacode212 Report post Posted January 19, 2003 1. Dirty Dancing 2. Private Benjamin 3. Fast Times at Ridgemont High I probably won't be back on until after the Royal Rumble, but I'm sure you'll have fun guessing in the meantime.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted January 19, 2003 I see this game turning into an opinion based thing that doesn't make a bit of sense, without some sort of concrete connection. My guess would be that all three were turned into very short failed television shows, which is true even if that wasn't what you were thinking.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted January 19, 2003 1) Wait Until Dark 2) Jennifer Eight 3) Ice Castles
Guest areacode212 Report post Posted January 19, 2003 My guess would be that all three were turned into very short failed television shows, which is true even if that wasn't what you were thinking. Yeah, that was it. I wasn't expecting anyone to remember any of those shows.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted January 19, 2003 My mom was a big Dirty Dancing fan, so she watched the show. And a local CBS affiliate reran the Private Benjamin show when I was a kid around the same time period as the Dirty Dancing show, so those were kind of linked for me. I vaguely remembered hearing about a Fast Times show, but I looked it up to make sure. When it comes to pop culture, I have a good memory.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted January 20, 2003 Deacon, I don't think anyone's gonna get that one, so I'll go: 1. The Road Warrior 2. The Matrix 3. Escape From New York Answer (Written backwards): Eivomcitpylacopatsoptseb
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted January 20, 2003 actually mine was pretty easy. All of the lead female characters are blind. I'll try to go a little easier. The Lion King Star Wars Pinnochio and the Emperor of the Night
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Report post Posted January 20, 2003 The Lion King Star Wars Pinnochio and the Emperor of the Night The voice of James Earl Jones. I couldn't stop myself from reading the answer to Zsasz's, so I can't guess. I'm bad at thinking of these, so mine will be quite easy. Ben Hur (1959) Gladiator The Crow
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted January 20, 2003 Somebody died during the filming of the movies? That's just a late night guess off the top of my head. And yes, the voice of James Earl Jones is correct.

Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted January 20, 2003 Ben Hur (1959) Gladiator The Crow The heroes are out to avenge a grave injustice, and die in the end, their mission successful...? I've never actually seen Ben Hur FULLY, but I know that happens in both The Crow and Gladiator. Kingpin Private Parts Blues Brothers 2000 Hmmmm...WELLLLLL...I'd try to make a Ghostbusters/SNL connection, as Bill Murray was in Kingpin, and Dan Aykroyd was in Blues Brothers 2000...but...hmm... Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Report post Posted January 20, 2003 Somebody died during filming was what I was thinking of. I guess your answer could be right, Laz, but I honestly don't remember Ben Hur all that well either. Kingpin Private Parts Blues Brothers 2000 I want to say Blues Traveler, but I don't remember if the whole band was in Private Parts. But I know John Popper was at least, so my answer is John Popper. Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Report post Posted January 22, 2003 Extensive (in some cases excessive) CGI could link yours, Mole, but I don't think that's the right answer.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted January 23, 2003 No one died during the filming of Ben Hur, that's an urban myth.
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Report post Posted January 23, 2003 A stunt man died in the 1959 version, which is why I specified. It's usually attributed to the Charleton Heston version, which is not true.

Guest Mole Report post Posted January 23, 2003 Extensive (in some cases excessive) CGI could link yours, Mole, but I don't think that's the right answer. Nope, but good guess. I am sure no one will get this, so I am going to give the answer. All of the movies were executive produced by Steven Speilberg, but he was uncredited for it.
