Saddam Hussein Named Best Iraqi Athlete

Iraqi sports reporters determined best athletes of the country of the year 2002. Athlete number one is the president of the country, Saddam Hussein. As reporters believe, he always takes care of the sports movement development in Iraq. Journalists also highly evaluated the activity of Saddam’s son, Uday, on his position of the head of the national Olympic committee. Iraqi sports journalists also came to conclusion that such sports as track athletics, football, handball, basketball, chess and heavy athletics accomplished a lot during the year 2002. Iraqi football coach Adnan Hamad was named the best Iraqi coach.

Something tells me that any more years like this and Iraq will have to drop it's football program to meet Title IX. :D

The former Iraqi football coach was murdered!

I'm kinda suprised, I thought Udi Hussein had a chance. He is the heir apparent and figured dear old dad might give Junior the award.

You know, I've got a funny feeling the vote may have been rigged.

Just a hunch...

Saddam once scored 5 touchdowns in a high school football game.

Maybe Saddam will "fight" to be the next Iraqi Heavyweight Boxing Champion. Smell the ratings!

Saddam is the Iraqi HHH. I'm sure he's holding down a few younger dictatorial sociopaths who are more deserving of his top spot.
