Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 So I'm reading around the net and I come accross 2 different things about this whole 30 days storyline: 1. In Keith's rant he points out that Bischoff's bombshell comes at No Way Out which is farther away then the days he has left... 2. On Lords of Pain, Tito pointed out that Chris Nowinski said there were 21 days left...despite the fact that it was only 7 days ago that it was 30...which should leave 23...(then he made a funny by pointing out that Nowinski went to Harvard) Why do they even try to have storylines anymore? They can't do a simple thing correctly! Why couldn't they just say...you have 5 weeks so that the date extends beyond No Way Out and fits the hole concept of 7 days in a week not dividing evenly into the number 30? Who booked this crap? The worst part is that none of these incorrect numbers ever crossed my mind because RAW isn't worth thinking abo... What were we talking about?
Rob E Dangerously Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 it'd seem too pecuilar if they said the exact total from one Raw to another. Which would be like 42 days or something Damned weeks.. Vince should make them shorter to end his angle correctly.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 If he'd just say "You have until the night after No Way Out to shake up RAW or your fired!" then this would be a lot better.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 That part of the napkin must have gotten smudged.
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Nowinski's math was the only really entertaining part of RAW. It also demonstrates that, of all the Tough Enough guys, he'll be the one to make it. He's already smart enough to know that when the office tells you that 30-7=21, then twenty-one it is. Hmmm, maybe we should get a re-count on all that money Vince is supposed to be worth?

Didn't catch the second inconsistency because I wasn't watching by then. I thought Bisch's big surprise was going to be a Goldberg heel turn...
Guest EricMM Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Well the thing is, the last two days won't matter because the last RAW is 21 days from the time Chris did his little speech, so he's actually correct. Perhaps if Vince had been smart enough to say 28 days, or 4 weeks, or a month even, then maybe we wouldn't be talking about this. it is funny how SCSA coming back will happen after the time limit. Maybe this will be part of the storyline?
Guest Mole Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 I think WWE can just do this kind of stuff because they can. They have gotten away with it in the past, and they will probably get away with it again. And yes, NWO is more than 21 days away, so I don't know how that is going to work. Maybe, Vince will say that he had 30 days, he blew it and that Shane O gets the job anyway.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Vince is using Thuganomics in his pyshics class, where No way Out is just 20 days away.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Yeah, it wouldn't make a ton on sense if Vince came back on Raw and said, "Yep, I fired Eric 5 days ago off camera"
Guest nikowwf Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Does it matter if its 28 days or 30 days? Are we just looking for things to complain about? If the story winds up interesting, great, if it sucks...not so great. But the difference in days...who cares?

If the story winds up interesting, great, if it sucks...not so great. But the difference in days...who cares? This is the Smart Marks board. By now you should know if there's nothing to complain about...we make something to complain about. Just another case of the WWE not thinking out anything they're booking

Math is hard, daddy!
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Seriously. They can't get the simplist part of an angle correct at this point. What hope is there for the hard stuff?
Guest Vern Gagne Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 I think once Nowiniski said 21 days, everyone else started saying 21 days.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Did nobody go to WWE.com the other day? There was a giant image of Bischoff with a clock, and "23 Days" between them.
