And Tajiri and Goldust...no one cares about the fact that you are champions. No one cares that Tazz & Spike were just champions...no Mania for you! Welcome back Val Venis and Godfather...your services won't be required. And Saturn...too bad for you.
Guest ColdStonedBlakeHickman Report post Posted March 11, 2002 That doesn't seem long enough to fill five hours..... I guess we'll get alot of desire videos and 15 minute promos
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted March 11, 2002 Well...even though Heat is a whole hour...all they ever give you before a ppv is one 6 minute match. I don't see why they can't just put a cruiser title match on the card...and then let Goldust wrestle someone...and have everyone else run in on it.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted March 11, 2002 I'm kinda surprise they aren't going to do a battle royal to fit more guys in.
Guest Brian Report post Posted March 11, 2002 How did they get to DDP vs. Christian? Unless I missed something, they're using a week to turn one guy and establish that match. Better off turning Edge and having both guys beat-up DDP, giving E&C the tag titles, and pushing the Impact Players against them at WrestleMania.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted March 11, 2002 I figured that it would end up being DDP vs. Christian...and then time kept passing and I thought they might tag team to fit in more guys...I can't say as I'm surprised they would do that with no buildup. This IS the WWF.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted March 11, 2002 I not sure if they turn Christian. They could always have Christian challenge DDP to see what he's learned or something like that.

Guest Sakura Report post Posted March 11, 2002 Tajiri and Hurricane had a close match on Heat a few episods ago. All they have to do is have Hurricane talk to Tajiri backstage on RAW and make a friendly challenge for the title at Wrestlemania. How hard is that? You know it'd get over. WWF keeps saying they're going to take the cruisers seriously once the split happens, but they won't even book a title defense at Wrestlemania? DDP vs. Christian is weird. I'm guessing it won't be annouced until Smackdown or even the Heat before the show. I was thinking about who would be the 3rd man for Perfect & Test while watching heat, they made a good choice with Lance. I don't see why that match won't be on the PPV, since they'll surely have time. Everything else is common sense, they've just been too lazy or stupid to book it officially. Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted March 11, 2002 Perhaps its better that they haven't taken the time to create storylines. When they do put the effort forth we get Japanese shampoo comercial or An undisputed title match that the champion doesn't even factor into.
Guest Anorak Report post Posted March 11, 2002 I was hoping in vain for a Tajiri vs Hurricane match to be included in the undercard. I'm sure the fans would have got into that match quite well. The rest of the card was pretty obvious to anyone after this past week, the Euro title match was about the only one which was slightly uncertain. No Hardcore match? I thought they would throw a bunch of people in there as a card filler and maybe give Maven some more exposure.
Guest JerryDrake Report post Posted March 11, 2002 Tajiri is not that over, he gets lukewarm pops at best. Personally i think a Hardcore Battle Royal should happen, like WM2000. Fuck the CW and LW Titles, no one gives a shit about them anyway. Hurricane should get a match, i agree, i woulda put him in the Hardcore Battle Royal. Guest Anglesault Report post Posted March 11, 2002 My thoughts are in brackets *Hulk Hogan vs. Rock{Uhm, well, It COULD be good} *Chris Jericho vs. HHH for Stephanie's title {Has there been any build up?} *Steve Austin vs. Scott Hall {Beer on a pole? This is going to suck because Austin refuses to do shit for the nWo} *Ric Flair vs. Undertaker {Who will die first?} *William Regal vs. Rob Van Dam for IC title *Kane vs. Kurt Angle {RIP, Kurt Angle. But I'm OK with that!} *Edge vs. Booker T {They are feuding over shampoo} *Four-way for tag titles with Billy & Chuck vs. Hardys vs. APA vs. Dudleys {The best possible scenario is that Billy and Chuck win. Sad.} *Jazz vs. Trish Stratus vs. Lita for womens title {Take away Lita, please.} *DDP vs. Christian for European title {Uhm...Why?} *Test & Mr. Perfect & Lance Storm vs. Rikishi & Albert & Scotty 2 Hotty (at this point the plan is for this match on Heat) {Well, four of these men at least try. I'll give you a hint-The other two were a tag team}
Guest JerryDrake Report post Posted March 11, 2002 *Hulk Hogan vs. Rock ITS A DREAM MATCH! I Personally cant wait, im gonna be going crazy during this match. I could careless about workrate. *Chris Jericho vs. HHH I think this is gonna be a great match, they have chemistry together, and work very well together. *Steve Austin vs. Scott Hall Am i the only one looking foward to this match? It should be alot better then people think. *Ric Flair vs. Undertaker I totally love the build to this, its an intentse fued, it could be great if added a Street Fight stip. *William Regal vs. Rob Van Dam for IC title It wont be that great, but RVD is winning the I.C. title! I cant wait to see him 5 Star Frog Splash Regal, and celebrate with the I.C. title. *Kane vs. Kurt Angle Had exellcent matches in past, given 20 mins, it should be great. They have great chemisty, should be a sleeper. *Edge vs. Booker T Another sleeper, should be great. Both men are capable of good to great matches. *Four-way for tag titles with Billy & Chuck vs. Hardys vs. APA vs. Dudleys Thank god its not Billy & Chuck Vs. APA, and thank god they added Duds and Hards, i personally think APA and Billy & Chuck should be elimnated 1st with its elimnation, so Duds and Hards could work a good match. *Jazz vs. Trish Stratus vs. Lita for womens title Could be good for Womans match. *DDP vs. Christian for European title Another sleeper, both men could work a good match. *Test & Mr. Perfect & Lance Storm vs. Rikishi & Albert & Scotty 2 Hotty (at this point the plan is for this match on Heat) Could be entertaining. Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted March 11, 2002 *Hulk Hogan vs. Rock- Dream match? Yes. Good match? Probably not. *Chris Jericho vs. HHH for Stephanie's title- If HHH can dump the Sloth-like tendencies he's been having as of late, then this will rock bells. *Steve Austin vs. Scott Hall- Will probably be decent. I'm sure Hall has been training hard and all, so who knows? *Ric Flair vs. Undertaker- Best build-up so far for this card. If it's a street fight, then it'll be good. If not, it'll be a pretty boring 15 minutes... *William Regal vs. Rob Van Dam for IC title- Style clashes are pretty brutal, much like this match will be. I don't liek either guy at all, but maybe they can do something watchable without some goofy, Russo-ish booking ruining the finish. *Kane vs. Kurt Angle- They had some good matches before and without stupid booking, they could have another one on this show. *Edge vs. Booker T- Shampoo contracts? Yeah, I care... These two should turn out a good to great match despite the stupid angle. *Four-way for tag titles with Billy & Chuck vs. Hardys vs. APA vs. Dudleys- Bleagh. One of these teams are overrated hillbillys. Another one is in the middle of a psuedo-gay gimmick. The last two are so stale that they hardly even get pops for their signiture stuff anymore and desperately need turns in the worst way. Does this even sound like a good match to you? *Jazz vs. Trish Stratus vs. Lita for womens title- Yeah, like I give a damn. *DDP vs. Christian for European title- Could be decent. *Test & Mr. Perfect & Lance Storm vs. Rikishi & Albert & Scotty 2 Hotty (at this point the plan is for this match on Heat)- Well, the heel side has three okay-to-good workers while the face side has one okay worker and two hideously untalented sloths, I think this match is in trouble... Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted March 11, 2002 *Hulk Hogan vs. Rock Crap match. Rock is good, but he's going to have to work a miracle to get the first good match out of Hogan in four years. Hogan always wins at Mania, Rock never wins. PREDICTION: Hogan after an NWO run-in, -* *Chris Jericho vs. HHH for Stephanie's title I am scared of this match. I for one have felt that their previous matches (especially the Last Man Standing Match) have been overrated. That was with both men at the top of their game and Steph not getting involved. PREDICTION: Jericho retains, **1/2 *Steve Austin vs. Scott Hall Austin is not good unless he is happy, and Hall sucks. Horrible match, but Austin wins since he is the top guy in the WWF, and Hall is the low guy in the NWO. PREDICTION: Austin via Stunner, -*** *Ric Flair vs. Undertaker Believe it or not, this could very well end up being the best match on the card. At least the build-up has been the best. PREDICTION: Taker should win over the non-wrestler, *** *William Regal vs. Rob Van Dam for IC title One guy is slow & methodical, the other is a high-spot artist. That said I think Regal can slow RVD down long enough to get a watchable match. The WWF seems to be building for an Edge/Regal blowoff, and that means Regal wins here. PREDICTION: Regal, ** *Kane vs. Kurt Angle If Kurt doesn't win, more is wrong with the WWF that we had ever dreamed off. Match should be decent as Angle seems to be the new Ric Flair as far as carrying people. PREDICTION: **1/2 *Edge vs. Booker T This should be good, but I have the feeling that it will end up being a six minute Edge squash. I'm not sure that Booker will ever be allowed to look good again. PREDICTION: Edge, * *Four-way for tag titles with Billy & Chuck vs. Hardys vs. APA vs. Dudleys Heels don't lose titles in four-ways. Match will be awful. PREDICTION: Billy & Chucky, DUD *Jazz vs. Trish Stratus vs. Lita for womens title Jazz vs. Trish gets **-***. Unfortunately, Lita is here to screw everything up. PREDICTION: Jazz, -** *DDP vs. Christian for European title Like Edge vs. Booker, don't expect this match to last long. DDP has to win to keep the angle going. PREDICTION: DDP, * *Test & Mr. Perfect & Lance Storm vs. Rikishi & Albert & Scotty 2 Hotty (at this point the plan is for this match on Heat) This can vary. The longer Test and/or Rikishi are in the ring, the lower the match rating. PREDICTION: Test, Perfect & Storm, 1/2* BOTTOM LINE: This looks like a horrible show on paper, reminiscent of Wrestlemania XV.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted March 11, 2002 *Hulk Hogan vs. Rock This match isn't going to be good. I don't know who was dreaming of this match...And I for one have never baan thrilled to see Hogan in the ring. Prediction: Rock gets his big one. ** *Chris Jericho vs. HHH for Stephanie's title Um...Jericho is good. There has been no buildup which leads me to beleive that HHH isn't winning Prediction: Jericho retains *** *Steve Austin vs. Scott Hall Hall seems motivated. Austin does not. And Hall can't carry Austin. Prediction: Hall wins. *** if Austin is a team player. * if not *Ric Flair vs. Undertaker It has my attention. I hate Taker but he should win. Te booking is flawed however...as Flair is the one fighting to avenge all of the bad things Taker did...but he can't win. Anti-climactic Taker match. Will David be there to turn on his dad again? Prediction: Taker. **1/2 *William Regal vs. Rob Van Dam for IC title After seeing a good Goldust/RVD match I'll be optomistic. RVD should win. Regal is too slow. RVD is too fast. This should be....interesting? Prediction: RVD wins. ** *Kane vs. Kurt Angle Angle deserves so much better. Especially since he's jobbing. Prediction: Kane wins. *3/4 *Edge vs. Booker T Could be the MOTN. That's sad. Prediction: Edge in his hometown. *** *Four-way for tag titles with Billy & Chuck vs. Hardys vs. APA vs. Dudleys Ugh. Prediction: Billy and Chuck retain. * *Jazz vs. Trish Stratus vs. Lita for womens title Jazz vs. Trishcould have been so good. Prediction: Trish wins in her hometown. * *DDP vs. Christian for European title Could be good.... Prediction: Christian wins in his hometown. **1/2 *Test & Mr. Perfect & Lance Storm vs. Rikishi & Albert & Scotty 2 Hotty (at this point the plan is for this match on Heat) Um...no. Prediction: Good guys win on heat. *

Guest Anglesault Report post Posted March 11, 2002 *Kane vs. Kurt Angle Had exellcent matches in past, given 20 mins, it should be great. They have great chemisty, should be a sleeper. Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted March 11, 2002 Are you serious? They pop when he comes out. They pop for Torrie. They pop for the tarantula. They pop for the stiff kicks. Guest Tony149 Report post Posted March 11, 2002 Hulk Hogan vs. Rock - I don't care for workrate. The match should have tons of heat. PREDICTION: Hogan wins with help from the nWo. WWF Title Match - Chris Jericho vs. HHH - The build has been horrible. You would think HHH was wrestling Steph. The match is ruined after Steph gets involved. PREDICTION: Chris Jericho Steve Austin vs. Scott Hall Austin doesn't seem thrilled about working with Hall. So I see Austin half-assing the match. Austin wins and gives Hall & Nash 5 Stunners. PREDICTION: SCSA Ric Flair vs. Undertaker Flair wins after Arn Anderson does a run-in and gives a Spinbuster to the Undertaker, then Flair locks on the Figure-4 to make UT tap. Taker's WM win streak should go to young guy like Edge or RVD, but Flair gets it. PREDICTION: Ric Flair IC Title Match - William Regal vs. Rob Van Dam RVD HAS to win. Regal has done shit with the title. PREDICTION: RVD Kane vs. Kurt Angle - Kurt & Kane have another good match with each other, but sadly, Kurt loses. PREDICTION: Kane Edge vs. Booker T - Can be good if it has time. PREDICTION: Edge Fatal 4 Way; Tag title Match Billy & Chuck vs. Hardy Boyz vs. APA vs. Dudley Boyz Don't really care for the tag division since it sucks right now. PREDICTION: Chuck & Billy Jazz vs. Trish Stratus vs. Lita for Womens title - I don't give a shit for this match. Trish & Lita will be the only ones that gives this match heat. PREDICTION: Trish DDP vs. Christian for European title - Can be good if given time. PREDICTION: DDP Test & Mr. Perfect & Lance Storm vs. Rikishi & Albert & Scotty 2 Hotty - Perfect's team has to win that match. PREDICTION: Test, Mr. Perfect & Lance Storm

Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted March 11, 2002 Well I don't think AA will be able to lift Taker to deliver a spine buster. Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted March 11, 2002 i don't think so because Arn's spinebuster was different than other spinebuster's. he picks the guy up like a normally spinebuster and then kinda spins a round and spinebusters them, with his weight coming down on top of them.
