What news channels do you watch?

Of all the news networks, the only one I ever tune to for more than 5 minutes it Fox News. For me, it comes down to who is more entertaining as anchors. I can get my news anywhere and form my own opinions based on relatively unbiased coverage. (newspapers, internet, etc.) But when watching television news, I'm fully aware that any host is probably going to have a biased view. Thus, I like to see who has the most entertaining slant and go from there.

 

I dig O'Reilly and Shepard Smith the most on Fox. (I can't figure out why I like Smith so much. Probably because there is no one else like him in news anchoring.)

 

I also REALLY like Aaron Brown over on CNN. Whenever I watch him, he strikes me as a down to earth individual who may actually be telling me the truth.

Smith Owns > Rather, Jennings, Brokaw/Willams. As he gets older, he will become the defining anchor in the news buisness. Its that he is Analytical, but still has a human side to it, just like Cronkite did.

 

O'Reilly Owns, because he has such power. I am just amazed how much things he has done with just his show. In one day, he took down Ludcris and then make these guys run like the dickens, saying that he is a danger, instead of going on his show and face him like men do. Take the interview with Amiri Baraka. Even tho, I somewhat agree with some of things Amiri stated, O'Reilly made him look like a basterd, and I respect him for it. His cockness some say make him hated some say, but I say let them hate you for what you stand for, because if you can make a case for it, you will be respected, and the ratings show THAT every damn night. Hell, I respect Jenna Jamison because of O'Reilly. (That Pulse Interview if I recall.)

Vern, my mistake. It wasn't Thursday's show, it was Tuesday's show. He had some guy whose dad died in the WTC and was saying all this anti-America stuff and O'Reilly cut him off -- funny stuff...
