Quite a lot of decent matches on the card. Which will probably help me gain an ever so important TV deal for next month. Another thing is I'm only 20% away from making it to Cult status (which I desperately need to make), and since I gained 5% this month, I just need to get 4 more months under my belt and I'll make Cult. The Good: Well, I must say that I'm excited that TWL gained in public image and is increasingly looking great. I must say that I'm readily pleased with the performances by my roster, and am looking forward to this March. The Bad: The negative figures in my finace department. Having lost almost a million dollars for one show doesn't bode fairly well for me... Personally, I'm afraid of ditching my starstudded uppercard/main event just because of financial reasons. The Ugly: Probably the worst of the matter was terminating Joel Gertner, Dutch Mantell, Roadkill, and Randy Orton. It's sad that I had to let such talent go due to lose of funds... What's sadder is I may apply for a loan directly after my event for March. ________________________________ The Ty Jefferson Tattle-Tale (1): Probably the biggest news for our upcoming Redemption's Folly is that Nova will be taking on Psicosis© for the Torment Championship. So far, it seems to be a straight up match, but I'm trying to talk Psicosis into making this a Cage Match. Doubt he'll listen to me, but maybe we can work something out. As well Spiffy Sean Stylez is looking to upset newly crowned Torment Champ, Spanky©. LeRoux and Spiffy are good buddies, and I don't think Spiffy takes to kindly to Spanky© up ending his friend. Should be quite a heated contest in this singles match. Also, on this upcoming card will be Alcatraz© defending his Pain Title against Jason Neidhart in the standard hardcore match. The Cruelty will be fought over as the Suicide Blondes go up against Casey© and Michaels©. The same men whom won the Cruelty Titles from the Suicide Blondes. Could we see the Suicide Blondes regain, what they are claiming is theirs. Rumors The rest of the card is still up in there air. However, rumors float about that Josh Wilcox will be challenging anyone to a match to prove his worthiness of the Pain Championship. Of course, he's wanting this match to be hardcore (standard of Pain Title matchs), you understand. Ron Waterman seems to be trying to weedle his way into a match against Ricky Morton. Not sure what for, but it'll play itself out in due time, I suppose. Air Paris wants to take on Mike Sanders. Paris claims that by sticking it to Sanders, Paris would prove that Sanders is not cut out to even be battling for the Torment Title. Mike Sanders was unavailable at the time to comment on if he'll accept Paris's challenge.

Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted January 27, 2003 Monthly news: Orton vs Bradshaw for tilte at next show. PI moved up three to 73%. WWE stole Raven form me. NWA:TNA stole Pscicosis from me. Got rejected in a Regional Network Show. Now have $1,942,300(not good.) Alright a couple of things. To keep increasing your PI at a steady rate during the month (when you not have a show), you must have advertisement above the 10% that Sophie is saying you have to be at. I found this out when I built my TWL from scratch once(backyard). It's the only way to get off the ground. Also if you are wishing to stay alive in February, send a promo tape to the local network for a TV show. The only way any regional company will save themselves, is if they get a show. You don't make enough money to spare yourself the mustard. If you end up in financial troubles after your March (Medium-Sized) Event, you might wanna apply for a loan. Since you wanna try and stay competitive, apply for the 5 mil. Hopefully, you'll get it. Yes, that's quite steep, but when you make Cult, it'll all be worth the loan. If you find that you are losing major money due to salaries of wrestlers, don't be afraid to cut some guys from your roster. Cut the people whom aren't that great of wrasslers, but have overness. What you need when you have house shows or the Monthly Event, is match quality, not overness. Sure, overness is a great bonus, but match quality is almost a guarentee to saving yourslf trouble, if your crowd doesn't feel like cheering your superstar on. If you look at most of my card, I got a lot of those decent % because of match quality because overness just wasn't helping me. Now that doesn't mean, due away with your whole top Main Event (seeing as they usually cost you the most). Just do away with wrasslers that you know without a doubt will end up on your backburner. That's about all the advice I can give... Not sure if it'll help you or not. But good luck to your endevours!

Derrick counters a sleeper hold by turning it into a jaw breaker. Jason Lee comes running down the aisle with a chair! Derrick goes to irish whip Lash LeRoux into the ropes. Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted January 28, 2003 ABW Feburary Update~! EZ Money is immediatly stolen from me by RoH. Bah! Roadkill is stolen by TNA. Damn you! Fortunatly, ABW rebounded with a tried and true indy tradition: throw money at talentless WWF castoffs! Hired Shelton Benjamin Nick Dinsmore Mr. Black Rosey (The fat one) Spanky Ivory (Manager) Nidia (Manager) Orlando Jones (Manager, cut from....somewhere) M Dogg (CZW is under new management. Interesting...) Fired before thier first day Ha! Alex Shane Gedo Jedo Chris Michaels Derrick King Sean Casey Adam Booker (manager) Hawk (manager) Rick Fuller (manager) And it's on to the show! I figured the best way to debut so many guys in such a short time was to throw them all into matches with each other. Before the show - Nidia and Ivory roll around in the mud and tear each other's clothes off. OR = 76%. This will be my highest rated segment other than the main event. I have to go hang myself now. Match 1: Kaz Hyashi vs. Mr. Fairy Rainbow. Kaz wins after slut-erference from Nidia. OR = 52% Scapegoat for low rating = Mr. Fairy Rainbow Match 2: Shelton Benjamin vs. Ron Waterman. Shelton wins and then shakes hands with Waterman. Too bad Waterman kicked him in the nuts. HEEL! OR = 60% Match 3: Air Paris vs. Lash Leroux. Lash wins after Nidia fucks up and screws Paris. Black wins after skulling Dinsmore with a chair. OR = 64% The title gained in image. Ha! Match 5: Adam Durante vs. Rosey. If you hadn't already guessed, we had to lift the ban on shitty brawling through the crowd after we signed Rosey. Anyway, these two get DQ'ed because the're big intense hosses. OR = 68% Match 6: Mike Sanders vs. Spanky. Sanders hits Spanky with brass knuckles and then nails the ref. He realizes he was supposed to hit the ref first, but it's too late as he's already been disqualified. OR = 67% Match 7: Ebessan vs. Men's Teoh. Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted January 28, 2003 Edit: Oh... And if you think this was fine and dandy, just wait till you see my April update. All I gotta say is "DAMN! That really HURT!" Probably my only concern is that I'm pissed off at losing money. Other than that, not really much I can do without cutting some major pay guys, and frankly, I can't do that. What's worse, is I found out that my events where regulated to Large, instead of MEDIUM.... Boy, and I was so wondering why I was having a hard time. If I can make it to Cult status, I got a shot at keeping myself alive without having to start from scratch. And would you believe that I lost Spiffy to the WWE? Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted January 29, 2003 I had to redo mine, since the game was freezing right off the bat (I waited about 20 min. and it never went to the next day.) But I hired all my originals right off the bat, and didn't add until people got releases, etc. Pro Wrestling Enterprise, Feb. 2003 Update: Bill Watts took over the promotion. Guys like M-Dogg 20, Johnny Kashmere, Ricky Marvin and Essa Rios on my roster, but Bill Watts is in control. What kind of world is this? Signed Spanky (released from WWE) as Upper Midcard face Signed Josh Prohibition (CZW Walkout) as opening heel Fired Kraq and Mustafa Saed. WXW picked up Mustafa. Josh Cody got caught with drugs, and suspended for a month. It was later revealed that Mike Sanders was just ribbing him, and had put a bag of crushed up Sidewalk Chalk in his gym bag. PWE Uprising Results: Vanessa is backstage with Kappa Tappa Kegga. Vanessa was out there to hype a match for Kappa Tappa Kegga against Overboyz. 60%, Vanessa gains overness. Here it comes - The Frat Party. 1....2...3, it's finished. Yuck. DUD. 43% (21% Reaction, 76% Quality). Corman and Samir have decent stats, and Jaxx Daniels seem to have a decent gimmick going for them (drunken frat boys, who would have ever thought of that one?) Hopefully they get better with time. DUD. 41% (34% Reaction, 59% Workrate) This was for the PWE World Tag Team Titles, which have gained image. What a tag division I've got so far. We've got the drunken frat boys, the Overboys, who aren't over at all, the charisma-less duo of Furnas and LaFon, who no longer even have workrate to make up for their non-personalities, and the Villanos, who really aren't the originals, but rather two illegal aliens looking for work that I felt bad enough for to give a job. This spot was where you were supposed to read about Alcatraz vs. Tommy Cairo in a Hardcore Match, but I forgot to copy/paste it. I've spared you. Thank me later. Tiger Driver nearly crushes the spine of Spanky. Misawa approves i'm sure. Spanky climbs the ladder. David Flair comes running down the aisle and into the ring, and pushes the ladder over! Spanky is sent flying, ending up going through the ropes to the outside! Mike Sanders goes up ladder and grabs the prize for the win. Sanders and D.Flair are putting the boots to Spanky! Air Paris comes running down the aisle with a chair! He slides in, sending Sanders \ D.Flair running for cover. Air Paris saved Spanky from a major beating. I'll give it a *1\2 rating. Match of the night right here folks-60% (64% Reaction, 71% Quality). This'll set up a nice tag match for my next show, pending that no one gets stolen (I'm looking at YOU, Sanders). Somethings up with the stats though, because if I got 64 and 71, I should have something like 65. But who said wrestling fans were mathemeticians. Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted January 29, 2003 I've posted stuff like this before, but I decided to redo this. These are some tips for some of the Regional Federations who are finding troubles getting to Cult. Remember, these are tips. Nothing says you NEED to do any of these. 1) As far as I could discern, you won't be getting a TV Network with 1.00+ taking you in for a TV show. Sadly, your choices are limited to KJLA, America One, and Local Network... Guys with .50 as tops. I say this, because of all the months I've applied for a TV show while being Regional, I never got a TV deal. And that's including going with the guys I've just mentioned. Also, your Monthly Event should stay/be at Medium status. If it's Large, you'll only be costing yourself a lot of money, unless you get lucky like me. 2) Should you get a TV show and it's Prime Time or Late Evening, put more angles and interviews (guys with high charisma) to build up overness and get more people into the wrasslers. Cause you don't wanna end up like me, with a decent chunk of my roster in Openers (then again, I just added some to my roster now that I can steal). 3) If you are desperately keen on picking up a dude on the waivers (free agency) but he's a little bit pricy (above your wage caps) don't be afraid to get him. Just make sure that he's worth the money you put into him. Same goes with a guy who's a killer of a wrestler, but overness makes him an opener. If he's worth the trouble, pick him up. If he's like 45 brawl, 54 speed, 34 technical, 51 charisma, and 41 selling; or something of such awfulness, DON'T hire him. 4) Not only that, but try to build your roster around guys that can actually carry themselves without help. Perferably guys that have great selling, charisma, and probably some decent talent [70+ in at least brawl, speed, or technical]. That way, you won't have DUD matches. Quality match work will always help out, because crowd reaction doesn't really get into it unless it's Main Event. 5) Also, the finacial department will tell you that at Regional should only have their advertising at 40%. To raise your PI (or keep it level, should your shows not pay off) bring that advertising up to 50%. Trust me, your public image will increase every week. Maybe only by a single tick, but it'll help. Hopefully, all this will help you out. You don't have to listen to any of this, but I just thought I could give some pointers.
Guest Chuck Woolery Report post Posted January 29, 2003 The Totally Awesome Wrestling Club March 2003 Update! March 2nd, 2003: Big day for me. Increased advertising level by twenty percent (now 50%), and went through my roster and changed all the ghey names to equally ghey names, but ghey names with FLASH~! Because of this... Arch Kincaid is now Dracon. I've been hitting the Animorphs lately. Erin Bray is now Aaron Bray. Simple, yet effective. Jason Rumble is now Jay Crimson. I changed his finishers from two Boston Crabs to the Crimson Crab and the Chicago Crab. Evil. John Walters is now Friar Funk. Big-ups to Edwin MacPhisto for the inspiration. Mike Paiva is now Jerry Slice. Hey, his tag partner is Blade. Blade, Slice, same diff. Spanky is now Ricky Midnight. I would've kept it as Spanky... but dude. Spanky? No way. March 5th, 2003: Ah, WrestleCircle.com. A quick check informed me that some Greg Pawluk guy is insanely good. Unfortunately, he has all the charisma of Steve Blackman. Guess it's time to hire some cheap T & A. Vanessa it is. March 30th, 2003: Yeah baby, it's time for... The Totally Awesome Wrestling Club presents, live from the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Illinois... TAWC: Alterior Motives Your hosts are Kristabel McDaniel and Ron Suicide Segment I Nova's backstage talking about how he's gonna kick the shit outta Mike Rapada. Damn, he got a hold of our booking sheets. Segment Rating: 65%. Score! Segment II Ron Suicide walks down to the ring and introduces the competitors for tonight's TAWC Clash Championship match, Dracon and the current Clash champion, Austin Lee. The WHEEL OF STIPS is wheeled out from backstage, and Lee, being the Clash champion, gets to spin the wheel. What does it land on but Cage! Tonight, one-on-one, Austin Lee v. Dracon in a Cage match! Vicious back suplex! Austin Lee got nailed. Austin Lee fights out of a grapple. Dracon walks into a face crusher variation. Austin Lee climbs the cage, but gets pulled down by Dracon! Dracon is in trouble. Degenerate Driver!!! That shook the ring. Dracon climbs the cage...but gets pulled off by Austin Lee, who then climbs up and over! We have a winner! Austin Lee slides out of the ring to the floor, then turns and leaves through the crowd. He's happy to have the win, and evidently isn't going to hang around for Dracon to get some payback. I'll give a 1\2 star rating. Segment Rating: 48%. God dammit, so much for getting above a 60%. Lee's starting to get over, though. Road Agent Notes: The TAWC Clash title has gained in image. Well, it's the coolest thing this side of getting laid, it better be. Segment IV: Ron Waterman's in the ring and on the stick, and he's making an open challenge for a match tonight. Who shows up but newcomer Greg Pawluk, who tells Waterman that all he's gotta do is show up in the ring tonight and he'll get an ass-kicking, free of charge. I think I've stumbled onto gimmick gold. Segment Rating: 53%. Gimmick gold, and a 53%. I can't win. Road Agent Notes: Ron Waterman gained overness from this segment. Greg Pawluk gained overness from this segment. Hey, Pawluk getting over is good for me. Segment V: For the second month in a row, Lash LeRoux is walking the halls, only to get randomly attacked by the Suicide Blondes! You think LeRoux would've learned by now. Oh well, by being attacked he's bound to get a title shot three segments from now. Segment Rating: 68%. I may average above a 60% yet. Road Agent Notes: Lash LeRoux gained overness from this segment. Derrick King gained overness from this segment. Jason Lee gained overness from this segment. Whoo! New Overboys! Segment VI: Singles Match Greg Pawluk w/Vanessa d. Ron Waterman Greg Pawluk uses move #193 (arm-BAR). Stun Gun from Greg Pawluk! It was close to a ** match, but one too many blown spots knocks it down to a *1\2 rating. Segment Rating: 59%. Not bad, considering it's Pawluk's debut. The fact that the match quality is 84% is a very good sign. Road Agent Notes: Ron Waterman lost overness from this match. Greg Pawluk gained overness from this match. Considering I used Waterman as enhancement talent for Pawluk, I consider this a plus. Segment VII: TAWC Tag Team Championships Ladder Match One Night Stand © (Edward G. Xstasy and Ronnie D. Licious) d. Fuzion (Jerry Slice and Blade) Slice receives some punishment. Blade takes a right hand to the temple from Xstasy. Ronnie D. Licious throws the ladder into Slice. One Night Stand set the ladder up, and climb up to claim the prize and get the victory! The fight has started up again! One Night Stand attacks Fuzion, and they brawl all around ringside, then into the crowd! They eventually disappear backstage, still fighting. I'll give it a * rating for not being too bad. Segment Rating: 52%. So much for the 60% average. Road Agent Notes: None. God dammit, I want One Night Stand to get over, but they're not. C'est depressant. Segment VIII: TAWC Flyweight Championship Singles Match Lash LeRoux d. Derrick King © (via disqualification) LeRoux takes a flying neckbreaker from Derrick King. Rapada counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Running clothesline from Mike Rapada, sloppily done. Mike Rapada hits a bulldog off the ropes. Nova reverses a Mike Rapada hammerlock. Flying cross body off the top rope! I'll give a 0.8 on the Steamboat scale for that effort. Nova moves in for the kill. Spin Doctor!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! Mike Rapada offers a handshake to Nova...but he spits at Mike Rapada and walks off! Worth a ** rating, but no more than that. Segment Rating: 63%. That's better than the last one. Good sign. We drew 413 people for a total gate of $8260. That's so not at you guys' level, but hey, I suck at this game. March 31st, 2003: Sent promo tape to KJLA. Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted January 29, 2003 TWL UPDATE!!! Brought to you by the wonderful food of Carvill Burgers. Mmm.... Taste that raw burger~! ...no. Those are really lives worms. It adds to the flavor The Big News Well folks. I don't know if I've just got lady luck behind me, or I just have a really good roster, but I seemingly can do no wrong. First of all, unless you were under a bunker, you probably might have notice that I'm now at Cult. Yes, I'm the first to make it there, and still growing strong! But, I'm doing it and managing to do it rather well. I booked half an entire TV show and Monthly Event with Openers, and I came up with nearly what I had (overall show 56+) if I hadn't of booked them almost... It was weird as hell. Yet, that's ok. Since most of them have progressed into my lower/midcard I now have a considerable lineup. I'll be able to REALLY crank out some awesome shows now that some of these people have gotten to where they need to be. So I'm looking for probably 63+ shows now. Oh yeah... Did I just say "shows"? Uh, huh. That's right ladies and gentlement. At the end of August I just scored a second show. Mind you, it's on TSN... But still it's better than KJLA. I'll probably also put out applications for another show, and ditch my KJLA show to that new show. Or still run the KJLA show to it's end of so many weeks. Depending on how well my deal with TSN works out. Speaking of new stuff, did I mention I just picked up Biron Smith, Michael Modest and Donovan Morgan. Don't know who they are? Check out Pro Wrestling Iron. I just got their three best guys, and I didn't have to steal any of them. Cause PWI went broke in my game! I literially drooled when I couldn't believe that not a single fed had signed up any of these talented men. Not RoH, NWATNA, nor WWE (I'm still pissed with them taking Spiffy away from me) picked them up, and so without further ado, I just had to sign them. It was like so obvious it wasn't even funny. So now my Main Event is lined up with such a potent stuff that I actually feel CONFIDENT ABOUT IT. For the first time since having problems with my Main Event, I now know that Donovan Morgan and Michael Modest will solve my problem. ...Biron Smith went to my uppercard if anyone missed that logic into why I had only mentioned two of the three guys. And also as of the end of August I was ACTUALLY making MONEY! By the end of September I'll be out of negative figures! I'm SO HAPPY!!! Oh yes, formats still the same folks. Just the TV shows are now below my Monthly Event in case you are wondering. And the winner of each match that takes place is now bolded so you no longer actually have to read the match to find out who won what matches in my events. Well that's my TWL Update. G'Day and enjoy. -Ty Jefferson (no that's not my real name) ____________________________________ Monday, September 1, 2003 Signed: Shark Boy(38000) to Midcard as heel Talent: Pushed all Openers (with exception of Aki Mann and Jason Rumble) to Lower/Midcard Singed: Bison Smith(32000) to Uppercard as face Signed: Michael Modest(45000) to Main Event as heel Signed: Donovan Morgan(35000) to Main Event as heel Rival News: PWI went bankrupt. They wind up brawling all the way down the aisle and out of view. It was close to a ** match, but one too many blown spots knocks it down to a *1\2 rating. I'll be damned, my two HOSSES~! have put on the best match thus far. Maybe JR knows what he's talking about after all. Then again, probably not. 56% (48, 78). Anyhow, the PWE World Title gains image. The stats from the events have looked like they have the "EWR glitch" where they don't add up right. Great. Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted January 30, 2003 JP \ Marvin vs M-Dogg \ Wylde 46% (25%, 80%). Again, I rely on this to be a showstealer, and a measly half star. So much for workrate meaning something. Kappa Tappa Kegga vs Overboyz : 50% (34, 79). I put these two teams into a feud in the hopes of actually getting some decent ratings from these lower card guys. It went from 24 to 39 after this event, so I must be doing something right. Alcatraz vs Joe E Legend : 45% (34, 67). I blamed Cairo for last month's Hardcore Match fiasco with Alcatraz, but maybe it wasn't all his fault. Hence why I disregarded known talent (unless they were talented) for my fed as I realised that probably overness of 20 at Regional would react just the same as overness of 20. No one really cares about these people. Besides you and every other Regionalist... And of course my Cultest self as well. Oh, and just so you know, putting any person in a feud it at least takes 8 wins on both workers (or just a flat out romp of 15[heel] to 1[face]) before any feuds can be ended... So really don't start feuds till you get a TV show... Makes life simplier. Hell, I've even got a TV show and I'm not using feuds. I'd recommend not using feuds unless you REALLY wanna to push someone up your organization. Do not blame Alcatraz for any problems you are having. Trust me. Just get his overness up somewhat, and he'll be doing fine. He's a staple of my midcarders and a member of one my better tag teams (tagging up with JC Ice [not to be confused with Jamie Dundee, the guy with the nickname JC Ice]). Besides, hardcore matches are hard to get great quality matches from. Getting a 67 is somewhat of a blessing in itself. Ron Waterman is a blessing. Give him a belt and he'll make sure that every championship match is a wonder. Oh and Nathan Jones is a pretty decent worker actually... Although, as soon as you can find someone more feesable, ditch Nathan Jones. Sounds cruel, I know, but really, you can get better people instead of him. Ah... Can-Am Express... Not really that great of a tag team, but meh. And when I mean great, I'm talking about charisma. Yet, Can-Am Express are very experienced in what they do. They'll carry your tag division. ...um, Ron Waterman actually carried Nathan Jones. Trust me. You put Nathan Jones with someone who doesn't have great talent, and it won't work. Actually, when you said Kashmere Project, I kinda was thinking of a stable, not Kashmere. Both guys are good, and I think they'll help you build your company to better heights. *flashback to my TWL* Ah... Dear beloved Spanky... How you help my company grow!!! AND MIKE SANDERS CAN GO TO HELL THAT CHEAP BASTARD SIGNING WITH NWATNA!!! YOU BASTARD!!! *end flashback* Well, I'm glad that your main event went ahead and did what it was supposed to. Be a success that is. Looks like a great main event you've got. You've got a good company so far. Keep up the great work!
Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted January 31, 2003 There's two wrestlers in EWR that I'd like to bring up and tell everyone about. One's named Jamie Dundee, and the other is named JC Ice. Well, besides a few slight differences like Dundee being better in two categories and Dundee was also employed; as far as I can tell it's the EXACT SAME PERSON!!! Seriously. Both guys have the Spinning Wheel Kick as their first finished. DDT as their second finisher, their age being the exact same and weight class ... hell! Jamie Dundee's nickname is JC Ice. Anyone find two exact wrestlers like that? I mean, that's kinda a weird mix up. Reason I bring this up, is I hired both of them. I kinda just found this out while I was messing about with my latest TV show.
Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted January 31, 2003 Jamie Dundee IS JC Ice. I guess Ryland thought he was two different people. He's the son of Bill Dundee, and is notable for being a part of the PG-13 tag team with Wolfie D (Slash in NWA:TNA).
Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted January 31, 2003 Ah... I see. Yet, why are both of them with different stats? That doesn't make any sense.
