Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted January 22, 2003 Help a brotha out. Please take into note that I'm less then great on the computer. Here's the deal with my burner. I have an HP with Windows XP, and it comes with a program called HP RecordNow. Basicaly I can pop in a disk...it'll read it...and then I put in a blank and it'll record it. There's an option to record stuff I already have on my computer, but it's only my Kazaa stuff. I want to use the stuff I've stored on my Windows Media Player, but I can't seem it. Guest I'm That Damn Zzzzz Report post Posted January 23, 2003 Windows Media Player by default encrypts files ripped with it, making it hard if not impossible to use with other programs. Moral: don't use Windows Media Player or WMA format anymore. Ever. (Or simply don't create files with Windows Media Player, used only as a player it shouldn't hurt anything.) You might be able to convert the files with Advanced WMA Workshop (get it here.) Instead of using WMP for copying cds, try Audiograbber. Finally, if you aren't using Kazaa Lite, get it now at http://www.zeropaid.com/kazaalite and kill all the crap Kazaa installed with Spybot Search and Destroy. Of course, If you have any other questions please ask.
