Aight. The college radio station I work for is going to celebrate it's 25th anniversary sometime this year. (We're all lazy fucks, so it's going to take us a while to throw shit together.) However, we do need a new logo, and since some of you people are just so dang talented when it comes to art and pictures and all of that pretty glitzy shit, I figured I'd come here and beg for help.

 

I'll say what NEEDS to be included, but the rest is up to you.

 

Our call letters: WSOE

 

Our call numbers: 89.3 FM

 

Our motto: The Only Alternative.

 

Not necessary, but if you've got room: Elon, NC

 

Whatever font, whatever design. Don't go too overboard or fancy on the graphic or the background, since our new logo will be going onto t-shirts, bumper stickers, frisbees, condoms (if I get my way), and all kinds of shit. Make it good, but keep it simple. Basically, fancy, but uncomplicated, if that isn't confusing enough.

 

One idea we had was almost the design of a beer can (we are in college, after all) with a born-on date of 1978 (we don't know the exact date, or at least I don't.) If anyone wants to take a crack at that.

 

There is no rush, just if any of you artists want something to do when your bored. It's a chance to potentially have one of your creations seen by a large audience who doesn't know who you are!

 

And just so you know, if we at the station do go with a logo from here, I will be taking all of the credit, since, like I said, they won't know who you are.

 

Now that I've pissed everyone off, start designing!
