Guest MrRant Report post Posted January 25, 2003 Clonaid says new clone from dead baby I don't think I could do that with my daughter.
Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted January 25, 2003 It's complete bullshit. They were going to do a DNA test on the supposed cloned baby, and suddenly the mother decided she didn't want to do it.
Guest HecateRose Report post Posted January 25, 2003 I'm sure if these Clonaid freaks really pulled it off, they'd be shoving so much scientific evidence down our throats we wouldn't be able to take it anymore. Any group that actually manages to be the first to clone a human being will want to prove itself; it would be a major scientific acomplishment. That and I'm sure they would make it part of the deal that if you give birth to a clone baby you have to be tested to prove it, a legally binding contract. Right now I'm sure the majority of the medical/ scientific community that was interested in this is tapping their foot, nodding there heads, and thinking "yeah, yeah, yeah" to these claims. Guest Downhome Report post Posted January 25, 2003 I don't believe it anymore either, not untill they f'n PROVE it. They are simply trying to get more people into their "church" or whatever it is, that is ALL. Go ahead Clonaid, prove me wrong, I dare ya. Live up to your word! I actually want to believe it, I do. That doesn't mean I totally agree with it though.
Guest RobJohnstone Report post Posted January 25, 2003 I do not believe it is possible to clone a human or to act as GOD. This is all propaganda nonsense to make people go to theiir church like Downhome said. Until there is proof is there any reason to continue bringing it up? --Rob
Guest RepoMan Report post Posted January 26, 2003 It's possible to clone a human, but a UFO cult won't be the ones to do it.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted January 26, 2003 Considering it's possible to clone other animals such as sheep and cats, and the fact that the Human Genome Project is complete, how would it be impossible to clone a human? It's going to happen soon, and I'm all for it.
Guest I'm That Damn Zzzzz Report post Posted January 27, 2003 Slightly off topic, but I'm only thirty Clone-Aid points away from a free clone.
Guest big Dante Cruz Report post Posted January 27, 2003 What really cracked me up about the whole thing is that the spokesperson for the group (a really weird guy with some unidentifiable European accent) was outsmarted by the coven of witches known as The View. They asked him questions and he made a point to only repeat the same three or four phrases over and over again. So, my question is, did they not think this through or did the guy forget all his backstage coaching?
