This may seem like a strange question, but does anybody know what WWF IYH would have been released 14 May 1997? your response is very much appreciated.

EDIT: Released on Video 14th May 1997

Cold Day in Hell, which was the first of many Austin vs. Taker PPV main events.

Whoops, sorry, misunderstood what you said.

It may have been Final Four from Feb. 1997, but that's just a guess.

Yeah sorry Mulatto, I didn't make the question clear enough.

See this site still has WWF tapes for sale and all the product description has is, "In your house, release date 14 May 1997". Thats why I asked the question.

I think the only other possibilities are the October and December PPV's of 96, because others tapes of the WWF were released in October, Raw Hits and Super Slams I believe, are these any good?

I'm leaning towards Final Four as well. The December 96 IYH - "It's Time" - was barely released in the U.S. so I don't think it would be that. And CHV usually did pretty quick releases - putting the tape out only a month or two after the broadcast. Sometimes, at least in the early 90s, just a few weeks after.

I read somewhere that IYH: It's Time from Dec. 96 was never released in North America (it is available overseas in PAL form).

Cold Day in Hell was never released to my knowledge but there are PAL converted copies floating around ebay

Yeah I live in Australia, so its a PAL tape, but I think that release date is universal.

It was released, just in small quantities. For Christmas of 96, I got IYH: GOOD FRIENDS...BETTER ENEMIES and it came with a Coliseum Home Video catalogue. It certainly didn't include every video they put out but did include quite a few (dating back to the Bulldogs tape in 86). Over the next few months, they would send occasional flyers promoting upcoming releases and I do remember IYH: IT'S TIME being one of those - along with the BEST OF RAW tapes from 96 that were almost exclusively sold overseas.

Sometimes, you could only get them off the order form of WWF Magazine.

Yeah, and most of them were $40+

that's why they're so hard to find these days

I wrote to Coliseum Video once requesting a match for an upcoming tape, so they put me on their mailing list for 2 years.

I requested either Yokozuna vs. Bastion Booger or Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Yokozuna.

(Neither of those matches ever happened though, did they?)
