Guest MaskedDanger Posted March 11, 2002 Report Posted March 11, 2002 That wasn't a huge surprise to me, because I thought Lee had been saying for years that he wanted to draw Batman full time, ever since he did a cover for Batman: Black and White. I always thought it was just a matter of him getting the time and opening. I haven't followed any monthly Batman title in a few years now, so maybe it is a surprise to the people who buy the books. I'm not nuts about Lee's Batman work, however. He always draws Bats too super-heroey for my tastes, not dark and pulp-ish enough for me. There are guys who draw Bats worse, but there are plenty of guys who draw him better, too. I know its a little off topic, but does anyone know if Tim Bradstreet's ever drawn any Batman work, like posters or covers or anything? A Bradstreet Batman would seem to be a no-brainer to me, and it would probably look really swell.
