Guest TheGame2705 Report post Posted January 28, 2003 For whatever reason they think Mark Henry is fucking excellent. Why did they bring in Red Dogg? Fuck bringing in boring and/or shitty OVW talent. If we're gonna release B2 let's get rid of everyone who even has something to do. D'Lo Brown- A really annoying fatass who's already paralyzed one guy and has proven he can't be cool or gangsta even if they were to mix his DNA with Tupac's. Bradshaw- The last big angry Texan in wrestling I can remember is Hansen. Follow his lead and scram. Jackie Gayda and Linda Miles- They suck horribly and I LIKE WWE Women's wrestling. 3MW- I don't care if Afa supports Vince McMahon's entire family, you could always tell Rikishi to lose weight and bring back Samu if you wanna do some favors to the fans, Afa, and the tag division. Maven- Despite sounding like an uncreative Raven parody he brought stuff to the table, a dropkick and a carbon copy of The Rock's character. Randy Orton- Blue chipper my ass. RNN rivalled Dawn/Torrie/Al in terms of wasted time. He should develop more or be cut. Steiner- Big Bad Boring Daddy has Ultimate Warrior-like mic skills and a camel clutch. Whoowee. Dreamer- Let's purge WWE of its dead ECW weight more since there's no more use for hardcore wrestling. Terri Runnels- Draw a stick figure and put water balloons on the chest and you have a quick replacement. No use since her Marlena days. DeMott- I like him lookwise but he's not worth anything else. Gunn, Holly- Have them go the way of Faarooq Palumbo- Unless they wanna do Razor Ramon II he's worthless. Dawn Marie- About as good looking as my hairy ass and abou as interesting. Mark Henry- Can him. No explanation needed. Redd Dogg- Came from OVW and he's boring AND shitty. You can't develop a piece of crap. It's crap, nothing to it. A-Train, Test, Rikishi, and Show were left off the list because with the right booking they can work and they fulfill the big slow guy quota.
Guest notJames Report post Posted January 28, 2003 B2 = Buh-Bye And yes, I much preferred him than the overpushed, undertalented, un-over crap that's been clogging the airwaves -- Albert, 3MW, DeMott, and especially Test, despite how some people think he's over. His girlfriend is over. His stupid catchphrase is somewhat over. But once he's in the ring, you can hear the popcorn vendors in the stands over the deafening silence. He gets no pops for his moves, no response to his crowd-pandering, nothin for his limited mic time. Say it with me... Test... is... not... over. Buh-bye. Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted January 28, 2003 In regards to the comments about 3MW and Rikishi, who are the Afa's?
Guest TheGame2705 Report post Posted January 28, 2003 Afa is part of that whole Samoan family tree, former manager of the Headshrinkers, Part of the old Wild Samoans, and a friend of Vince.
Guest teke184 Report post Posted January 28, 2003 The short version is that Afa has always provided talent to the WWE through his school ever since he retired in the 80s and was rumored to be a part of Vince fixing the jury at his steroid trial.
Guest wwF1587 Report post Posted January 28, 2003 I predict 3MW will be the next to go. i am praying for the day they go... every god fuckin day... i liked it when they just beat up people... and why albert still has a job and got pushed over matt hardy still pisses me off...damn you JR
Guest Army Eye Report post Posted January 28, 2003 Forget about Mark Henry being let go. He is signed to a HUGE contract.
Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted January 28, 2003 How much more time does Mark Henry have on his contract? Didn't he sign it right after the '96 Olympics?
Guest notJames Report post Posted January 28, 2003 How much more time does Mark Henry have on his contract? Didn't he sign it right after the '96 Olympics? I believe Henry has a 10-year contract, so that would put his release right around 2006-2007. Unless of course he were to do something unimaginably bad, like falling on Steph and breaking the hand she uses to write with. (crosses fingers)
Guest Goodear Report post Posted January 28, 2003 Meh, B2 is a total nothing in the ring and out of it. I mean really, all he ever did was shout BOYAH and while that was fun and all, it doesn't make up for the number of years that Bull spent in development not getting any better. He was still the worse worker on the SD! brand... yes worse than Show, Rikishi, DeMott and A-Train. I won't miss him.
Guest evilhomer Report post Posted January 28, 2003 I didn't even like the BOYAH act he had going. He reminded me of Homer Simpson in that Homerpallosa episode, just an old, very uncool guy standing around doing his best to look and be cool. Having said that, I have a feeling that I'm going to prefer him over Red Dogg, at least B2 knew to shut up and stay out of the way. It's a good sign that a Hoss got his walking papers though. Hopefully it means that WWE is looking at actual talent when the subject of cuts come around.

Hey, banging Stacey doesn't necessarily equate to maintaining employment. If that were true, then Sharmell Sullivan would still be employed. I'd think that a better assumption would be that he's still tight with Shane. Maybe they should release Ernest Miller. Josh may suck at PBP, but at least he tries. Cat... well, he can dance, but is pretty much collecting a paycheque. Throw someone who gives a damn into the colour slot.
Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted January 28, 2003 Dreamer- Let's purge WWE of its dead ECW weight more since there's no more use for hardcore wrestling. I have to disagree here, Dreamer is the most over of the ex ECW wrestlers not named RVD.
Guest subliminal_animal Report post Posted January 29, 2003 I agree that as hosses go, he's one of the better ones. He was. I liked him a lot, even though he wasn't too hot in the ring. I usually feel bad for anybody when they're released, but I'll really miss the guy. I don't know why the hell they didn't let him do the Waylon Mercy character he supposedly had in OVW that Jim Ross put over huge in the Ross Report. He showed shades of it during the RTC run, and I'm disappointed I'll never get to see it. Hopefully TNA picks him up. I may not have cared much for his characters nor his wrestling ability but I feel bad that he was let go so abruptly. He just had an interview on wwe.com a couple weeks ago about how happy he was with his new role. He sounded really optismistic. That makes me feel even worse. On the other hand (and this will sound very cold) The WWE is at least doing the right things for business, cutting loose people don't figure to do much in the future instead of keeping them just because "they are nice." (I'm sorry to sound mean there but it is a business and they have to cut people sometime. They are overstuffed as a roster.) To be fair to them, the WWE has been very generous in terms of keeping people past the point that you'd think they would've already severed ties. D'Lo, Credible, Raven, Crash Holly, Funaki ... there's tons. Terri, Bossman and Haku are perhaps the most outstanding examples, though. Maybe they should release Ernest Miller. Josh may suck at PBP, but at least he tries. Cat... well, he can dance, but is pretty much collecting a paycheque. Throw someone who gives a damn into the colour slot. I don't want to see Ernest Miller released, I want to see him in the ring. He sucks, but his character makes it worthwhile. The short version is that Afa has always provided talent to the WWE through his school ever since he retired in the 80s and was rumored to be a part of Vince fixing the jury at his steroid trial I don't know if Afa can provide much talent since everyone on his promotion's TV show sucked ass. His ugly grandson, Skinhead Ivan, Moondogs 2000, Big Poppa Pete, Team Xtreme, Suga, Zero Gravity, Bodacious Pretty Boy ... it goes on. I don't know if he trained all those guys, but there's a problem when pretty much everyone in your promotion sucked and their shit-slot TV show in three months. Batista is the only guy they've given the WWE in years, as far I know. And that cat is ass, daddy-o. Maven- Despite sounding like an uncreative Raven parody he brought stuff to the table, a dropkick and a carbon copy of The Rock's character. Raven? Do you mean just becasue the name sounds similar? And his character is The Rock's? You are talking out of your rear, mister. Is Haku still on the roster? If he is, then he should be cut. I also think Funaki needs to get the boot. I love Haku, and I want him back on TV, but if they're not going to use him, cut him. Unless he has no other skills whatsoever and can't make a decent indy living and might have to kill himself with a crack addiction. In that case, let him stay. Getting rid of Funaki would be stupid and would be the final slap in the poor guy's face. Not that I mind his release, but why not fire Mark Henry who is doing shit right now? B2 at least had *something* going storyline wise. What's up with this "oh hey, let's give them a storyline and then fire them just when it's starting" shit? Why not just release A-Train then... that would be a MUCH better choice. I don't know if you meant this or not, but A-Train has kind of a storyline going with his alliance with Heyman's group. They also gave him a new name and entrance, so I doubt he's going anywhere. But yes, this firing people with storylines is strange. I don't know why Raven was getting so much to do before they got rid of him. But I guess you can make the argument B2 really didn't have anything to do because they offed the Cena team.
