Guest Eagan469 Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 As an extension of the RAW conversation tonight, let's see what Rocky has to say, shall we? "Tonight's guests are The Rock, Al Michaels and rapper 50 Cent. Plus, Snoop Dogg co-hosts for the week! "
Guest Mole Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 12:05 est time. Wow, how can ABC get rights to show all of this stuff about NBC and Fox??
Guest Mole Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 This show really is LIVE, this is sweet.
Guest Eagan469 Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 ABC They took away the beer! DAMN YOU MOUSE!
Guest wwF1587 Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 HOLY CRAP... the rock is bold (almost)
Guest Mole Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 I love Jimmy, but he HAS to ask more questions about wrestling than that. I beg him too, beg, beg.
Guest Eagan469 Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 board's back that part with Snoop's action figure being 3 times the size of Rock's was too funny great show so far Edit: 1000th post!
Guest Kingpk Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Al Michaels seems like a cool guy to hang out with. How he puts up with that fat putz in the booth amazes me. Oh, and did that Joe Millionaire guy really get a hummer? EDIT: Hey 50 Cent.....OPEN YOUR MOUTH WHEN YOU SPEAK!! Al Michaels reading rap lyrics? COMEDIC GOLD!!
Guest Mole Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Yes, that was great. Did anyone see Rock's face during that bit?
Guest Eagan469 Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 this is a great, great show if Al Michaels gets up and dances I'll call it best ever
Guest Mik at Cornell Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 The Al Michaels/50 Cent thing has to go down as history. Reading rap lyrics, slapping hands with each other. Then the whole part with Jimmy asking 50 cent how many times he's been shot. FUNNY SHIT.
Guest Eagan469 Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 ABC doesn't have a silent beep! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest Army Eye Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 I like when Jimmy asked 50 'so they're trying to get all your songs out while you're still alive or what?' ROFL
Guest Mik at Cornell Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Having the crowd right up on the stage is a pretty sweet touch, separates it from SNL, Letterman and Leno. I love this show.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 What the Hell has The Rock done ? I am now a loyal Fan of the Show. I will be watching every night. Where else can you find a 50 Cent/Al Michaels Duet...
Guest Eagan469 Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Having the crowd right up on the stage is a pretty sweet touch, separates it from SNL, Letterman and Leno. I love this show. Last night for Coldplay they had a rock concert setup outside in the street. It's great that they customize the setting for the performer, just awesome.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Who's Tommorow's Guests ?
Guest Mik at Cornell Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Yeah I caught it yesterday too. But I think that was a one of a kind thing. I'm thinkin this is the regular performer setup. I also think it's pretty sweet they get to do 2 songs (although the 2nd has gotten cut off 2 nights in a row)
Guest Kingpk Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 We'll know tomorrow, I guess. Great show. Jimmy will get the hang of interviewing guests pretty quickly, I think. They should have Al Michaels co-host for a week.
Guest Mik at Cornell Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Did anyone else notice how PISSED The Rock was when Jimmy made that Nell Carter comment? Rock didn't look happy at all.
Guest Army Eye Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 What was the comment? I guess I missed that part, I was doing stuff on the computer at the same time.
Guest Mik at Cornell Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 They were talking about Shania Twain lip syching, and Jimmy said hell let her lip synch, just let her look good and have someone like NEll Cater do the actual singing...after everyone paused he said, "The reason I'll miss her the most is because she can't be a punchline anymore." or something pretty close....
