Guest Sakura Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 And that's bullshit. Yeah, I agree, but it's a house show so there's no reason not to just go ahead with it. It doesn't do any harm to Kurt and the fans like it. It's messed up, but you're overreacting.
Guest Anglesault Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 I just have a horrible feeling that this is the beginning of the end. Jobbing to Venis, Jobbing to Kane...
Guest Sakura Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 You don't know if he's going to job to Kane. Even if he does, there's no way Kane will just squash him. I'm a huge Kurt mark(actually, I want to marry him!) but he's not going to be fighting Saturn on Jakked any time soon.
Guest Tha Cunnysmythe Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 It's a house show, it'll mean nothing. Plus, look at Rocky Maivia, now look at The Rock. Look at Hunter Hearst Helmsley, now look at Triple H. Look at The Ringmaster, now look at Stone Cold Steve Austin. And most important of all, CHRIS JERICHO, CURTAIN JERKER, JOBBER TO THE STARS, LOWER MIDCARD EXTRAORDINAIRE. Now he's the first ever undisputed champion of the world. Maybe Angle will descend into a pit of jobbance for now. He'll be back. He's a good worker. And before you mention Lance Storm, he doesn't have the look or the charisma. Angle does, so he'll go far.
Guest Anglesault Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 You don't know if he's going to job to Kane. Even if he does, there's no way Kane will just squash him. Logic states that Kane will win. Angle will work the ankle all match, kane will no-sell and chokeslam. - Plus, look at Rocky Maivia, now look at The Rock. Guest KANE Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 Jesus Christ, it's WRESTLING. It's FAKE. And it was a HOUSE SHOW on top of it. You're a pathetic human being if you're crying about house show results. Get a hobby or something. Log of the internet, go enjoy some fresh air. You're taking this WAY too seriously.
Guest Sakura Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 Logic states that Kane will win. Angle will work the ankle all match, kane will no-sell and chokeslam. What logic? Kane almost always loses his big matches(then again, so does Kurt). Why are you so sure Kurt will lose?
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 Face it, Anglesault: ANGLE JOBBED. WHOOP-D-FUCKING-DOO!!!!! Stop being a little bitch over this! Ever figure that maybe the WWF decided to have Venis win to see the kind of reaction he'd get?
Guest Anglesault Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 Kurt has dominated the whole feud, and Kane is yet to beat him.

Ever figure that maybe the WWF decided to have Venis win to see the kind of reaction he'd get? Why?
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 Canadians are different than Americans. If someone is from anywhere in Canada, they will be cheered anywhere in Canada. Even Test.
Guest Sakura Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 Yeah, but they're not really playing up to the fact that this is their 3rd match in recent history(or is it 4th?). I don't know if I'd say Kane HAS to win because Kurt has been dominate, he got the better of Kurt on RAW a few weeks ago and there's still a week of TV left.
Guest Anglesault Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 Canadians are different than Americans. If someone is from anywhere in Canada, they will be cheered anywhere in Canada. Even Test. SO?
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 So Val would get a similar reaction to being in his hometown.
Guest Anglesault Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 RVD is cheered everywhere and he gets jobbed all the time. It's not a matter of how many cheers he gets.
Guest Army Eye Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 I feel dumber just from reading this thread. Sigh.
Guest Anglesault Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 You also have a picture of someone's mouth as your personal pic. Not very smart.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 If Angle gets jobbed to Kane at Mania, then complain. Don't worry about a house show.
Guest erotic jesus Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 If I remember correctly, didn't Hulk Hogan job to Jacques Rougeau in Quebec? I think Rougeau is way beneath Venis in the grand scheme of wrestling, and I hate to say, Hogan is way above Angle, historically. Relax... At least Angle isn't a jerk, going along with giving someone like Venis the rub, even if it is only a house show... He deserves credit.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 "I think Rougeau is way beneath Venis in the grand scheme of wrestling, and I hate to say, Hogan is way above Angle, historically." Rougeau is alot bigger than Venis.
Guest JerryDrake Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 You seriously need a life Anglesault. ITS A FREAKING HOUSE SHOW, NO ONE CARES.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 man oh man anglesault. i normally like your posts but this is too much! your obsession with Kurt ANgle has reached a whole new peak. it's a house show they have no impact whatsoever on the wrestlers storylines. and besides whats the harm with venis winning? wouldn't want to see what people's reaction to him winning a match now would we? just mellow out.
Guest Army Eye Posted March 12, 2002 Report Posted March 12, 2002 You also have a picture of someone's mouth as your personal pic. Not very smart. How is that relevant, and what does an avatar have to do with someone's smarts? Yours is a red X by the way.
Guest converge241 Posted March 16, 2002 Report Posted March 16, 2002 RVD was unable to make it to the show to lose to Angle, when Val was all they had to replace him WWF officials felt that Angle beating Val would have been too cheap of a match so they had Val win as a "surprise finish" ---PWTorch Newsletter Angle's one of my favorite wrestlers and if he doesnt care about losing to Val why should anybody else? Sure Edge may have been a little better if he was available but at least there was a reason behind having Kurt lose
Guest Shawn Posted March 16, 2002 Report Posted March 16, 2002 Anglemark is right! you all should be snapping of pictures of Kurt unless you have Jakked and Metal because you won't be sing him otherwise. I mean hey, look at Kaientai (the WWF version)! Ever since Val won, well... </tryingtomochanglesault> Somebody go get Dutha Rose.
Guest muzanisa Posted March 16, 2002 Report Posted March 16, 2002 House show send the fans home happy. Heel loses Angle Heel Val Face from Canada Makes sense BTW HHH thinks that Big Show could take Angle in a shoot, and i reckon Karelin would beat him in under a minute.
Guest Anglesault Posted March 16, 2002 Report Posted March 16, 2002 Heel loses Angle Heel Val Face from Canada Makes sense Not when you consider Kurt former world champion Val jobber Narnia IS NOT Val's hometown
Guest Tha Cunnysmythe Posted March 16, 2002 Report Posted March 16, 2002 All parts of Canada are the hometown of Canadian wrestlers, because the WWF doesn't go to Canada all that often. Look at when the Bulldog went to England. He was in London and got a huge pop, despite being from Manchester, being a heel, and also being completely shite. See AS, this is why you're banned from WDI now.
Guest dreamer420 Posted March 16, 2002 Report Posted March 16, 2002 The show wasn't even televised so there is no reason for anyone to be a flammer just because Val Venis went over Kurt Angle. Of course if we were all lucky we would get to see it happen on various Raw's, Smackdown's, and PPV's.
Guest converge241 Posted March 16, 2002 Report Posted March 16, 2002 I agree, not even televised, no big deal. Its not like it was pay per view and became the first and only man to drop two titles on the same night by pinfall lol
