Guest teke184 Report post Posted January 29, 2003 GI Joe: Real American Hero is the first GI Joe storyline ever, a five-parter in which COBRA creates a transporter called the MASS Device and starts whipping ass as a result. GI Joe: Revenge of Cobra is the second GI Joe storyline and was also a five-parter. In it, COBRA creates the Weather Dominator, which they use to launch weather attacks until GI Joe counters it. (If you've ever played Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge, you've seen a form of this device) GI Joe's counter attack causes the device launches into orbit, where it explodes into three pieces and the world's weather turns to shit as a result. GI Joe, COBRA, and Zartan's Dreadnoks all start trying to recover the pieces so they can rebuild the Dominator and control the world. Revenge of Cobra is one of the best GI Joe stories ever and Real American Hero is also pretty solid, so this will be a hell of a DVD even with no extras. Now if I could just get a DVD with some classic kick-ass episodes like The Traitor 1+2, There's No Place Like Springfield 1+2, and Worlds Without End 1+2 ...
