Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted March 3, 2003 Ok my main gripes are. Pass defense SUCKS. When the ball is thrown, it always LOOKS like your CB is right there, but then when you watch instant replay the CB is a good 3-5 yards behind the reciever, and even then, seems like it is one-on-one so the WR goes all the way. The skills and deficincies(sp?) of the team rankings should be reflected when you play. If the team only has a 60-rating in the rushing attack, then when you play them, you should be able to easily stop the rushing. same with passing, kicking, etc..... The crowds need to be different from each other. Each should have their trademark chants. When I play in Washington(home game) I want to hear "hail to the redskins" when they score. Now that PS2 has a network adapter I think there should be an option where you can download updated rosters for your game before the season starts. The game usually comes out 2 months before the season starts so there is usually a handfull of roster changes. They should allow you to download the updated roster, at least for the same year. Guest fazzle Report post Posted March 3, 2003 If they allowed you to download rosters, they know they'd lose a good portion of the sales for the next year's edition.
Guest The Tino Standard Report post Posted March 3, 2003 I think he means you could update the rosters at least until the next year's game came out, much the same way as you won't be able to play Madden online after sometime in July 2003. As for the crowd thing, they're already doing that. Cleveland Browns Stadium (Go Browns) has the Dawg Pound barking, the Metrodome has a horn for the Vikings, like they actually have for big plays and the cannons go off at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa when the Bucs get into the redzone or score.
