Guest jester Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 A mixed tag: Jackie Gayda & Scott Steiner vs. Big Show & Texas Jackie Then you put an Angle/Benoit match right after, so those two look like they are doing stunts in fast forward.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 Mysterio + Amazing Red = Mouth Drops
Guest notJames Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 HHH vs. a speeding car Goldberg vs. an oncoming train Trish vs. my zipper (Hey, you said "dream" matches, right?)
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 Rey Mysterio vs. Jamie Noble with 20 minutes for the IC title. I want midcard belts back, dammit. At least one of them. We'd get a lot closer to having dream matches if people in the midcard could be at all built up for the mainstage.
Guest Brian Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 I want Mysterio/Knoble to be the feud that puts the light-heavyweight division on the map. All the matty goodness and highspots and lucha and rudoness.
Guest TheyCallMeMark Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 A match I don't think I'll ever see, that I would love to see above any other match in wrestling today, is American Dragon v. Chris Benoit. I think that Benoit and Dragon are two of the few remaining people who know how to work a smart match and do so frequently. I think they could pull out a great mat-fest.
Guest Redhawk Posted January 31, 2003 Report Posted January 31, 2003 It wouldn't be a good match, but I bet Hulk Hogan vs. Shawn Michaels could draw. Also, Triple H vs. Lesnar.
Guest Brian Posted January 31, 2003 Report Posted January 31, 2003 I doubt it would draw. Considering they've long past milked all of both guy's chances of drawing.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted January 31, 2003 Report Posted January 31, 2003 Michaels couldn't draw in his prime, let alone now.
Guest Brian Posted January 31, 2003 Report Posted January 31, 2003 I think they got one better than normal buyrate out of him at SummerSlam, and that was about it.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted January 31, 2003 Report Posted January 31, 2003 Hogan and Michaels kind of cancel eachother out. They could help draw added into the mix with the right current superstar, but together it would just kind of be "there" Notice how the BEST OF RAW which started in 1993 rarely showcased anything before 1998. These guys who are the current top dogs of the WWE are the only drawing power. Anyone from beyond there is lost beyond the hardcore fans. And those fans usually buy anyway, they don't expand or deteriorate.
