Guest JangoFett4Hire Report post Posted January 29, 2003 I have the first issue of Marvel's Star Wars (1977) as well as the first issue of Wolverine (1988/89?) and I'm looking to sell them hopefully for some bling-bling. Do you guys know of any reliable online price guide that I may be able to get some sort of an idea on how much these puppies might be worth?
Guest crandamaniac Report post Posted January 29, 2003 Here you go. Sass or somebody else may be able to give you a better place to try, as I noticed there is a bit of hate on this board towards Wizard.
Guest areacode212 Report post Posted January 30, 2003 You might want to try looking on eBay to see what people have paid for it recently. The adage "it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it" is true.
Guest Sassquatch Report post Posted January 30, 2003 Which variant of the Star Wars issue do you have? You can sell the Wolverine issue anywhere from $35 to $50 as those are the prices I have seen people willing to pay for the book.

Guest JangoFett4Hire Report post Posted February 6, 2003 Which variant of the Star Wars issue do you have? The 30 cent cover, not the far more valuable 35 one
Guest Sassquatch Report post Posted February 7, 2003 Is the issue a reprint or is it the original movie adapatation issue from 1977? If so, you could have a $70 to a $95 book on your hands. If the issue is just a reprint of the original '77 issues then you have a book that would only go for about $5.

Guest Sassquatch Report post Posted February 10, 2003 If that's the case then I would visit your local comic book store and see what they would give you for that book.
