Guest Johnson1620 Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 A man and his wife are awakened at 3 o'clock in the morning by a loud pounding on the door. The man gets up and goes to the door where a drunken stranger, standing in the pouring rain, is asking for a push. "Not a chance," says the husband, "it is 3 o'clock in the morning!" He slams the door and returns to bed. "Who was that?" asked his wife. "Just some drunk guy asking for a push," he answers. "Did you help him?" she asks. "No, I did not, it is 3 o'clock in the morning and it is pouring outthere!" "Well, you have a short memory," says his wife. "Can't you remember about three months ago when we broke down and those two guys helped us? I think you should help him, and you should be ashamed of yourself!" The man does as he is told, gets dressed, and goes out into the pounding rain. He calls out into the dark, "Hello, are you still there?" "Yes" comes back the answer. "Do you still need a push?" calls out the husband."Yes, please!" comes the reply from the dark. "Where are you?" asks the husband. "Over here on the swing!" replies the drunk
Guest Sandman9000 Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 Yes, drunk people can be funny. However, that was not one of those times.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 That was ghey. OMG PESSIMISM OUTSIDE OF THE PESSIMISM FOLDER!!!!!!11!!
Guest Johnson1620 Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 That was ghey. OMG PESSIMISM OUTSIDE OF THE PESSIMISM FOLDER!!!!!!11!! That wasn't pessimisim. That was just making up words, which I guess is the "cool" thing to do around here.
Guest SP-1 Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 "Ghey" has pretty much been adapted as TSM canon, though. And if I'm not mistaken it has been around for quite some time, no? It's no different than normal slang, which I might point out the way you used, "cool" falls under. Otherwise you're saying that it's a "mildly cold in temperature" thing. That is all.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 Ghey has been around for years on the IWC
Guest Angle-plex Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 Gay is better than Ghey Oh and that joke was not funny.
Guest EQ Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 I hate "ghey". To me, it falls under the set of things which can only be defined as "GAY". The set also includes: 733t, all your base and saying "ur" when you mean "your" or "you're". But I do agree, the joke wasn't really funny.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 Well...that was underwhelming.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 ghey is a cool saying. Ghey is better than gay, because it takes the homophobic connotations away from it.
Guest Johnson1620 Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 ghey is a cool saying. Ghey is better than gay, because it takes the homophobic connotations away from it. Actually it still sounds homophobic.
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 I fuck dudes, and I use both gay and ghey to describe something I don't like. It's not homophobic.
Guest LooseCannon Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 I thought the joke was funny. Good work Johnson.
Guest Incandenza Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 I've seen "ghey" crop up at non-wrestling related message boards, for what it's worth.
Guest Kinetic Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 Hey, that joke was funny. The anti-Johnson bias has clouded the humor vision of nearly everyone in this thread. "Over here on the swing"....HA!
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 ghey is a cool saying. Ghey is better than gay, because it takes the homophobic connotations away from it. Actually it still sounds homophobic. well your an idiot.
Guest Angle-plex Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 Hey, that joke was funny. The anti-Johnson bias has clouded the humor vision of nearly everyone in this thread. "Over here on the swing"....HA! I don't hate Johnson and I think the joke was awful.
Guest Kinetic Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 Well, you have no sense of humor. Or just a bad sense of humor, anyway. If anyone knows funny, I knows funny and that joke is funny. Did you ever hear the one about the guy who walks into a bar and says, "Ouch!"
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 *Sensing Sarcasm something that he is not good with CWM flees the thread*
Guest LooseCannon Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 Eh, I'm not into physical humor.
Guest AM The Kid Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 I'm confused again, can I have a hug Johnson?
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 No way am I hugging your johnson, AM.
Guest Kinetic Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 The key to the "man walks into a bar" joke is that it subverts the whole "man walking into a bar" genre. It turns that sucker on its head, it does. What's funny is not the actual walking into of the bar...it's the sudden, unexpected punchline. Although, frankly, I've told the joke about fifty times over the last three years and I'm the only one who's ever laughed.
Guest AM The Kid Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 I betcha SOMEONE will hug my johnson.
Guest Kinetic Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 I don't think Kotz is on right now, though.
Guest AM The Kid Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 Oh, thats a shame. He'll do it tomorrow anyways.
Guest Danny Dubya v 2.0 Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 OK, who wants to be Hugh A. Johnson here? C'mon, c'mon, any GENERAL JOHNSONS in training!?!?!?
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 The joke wasn't funny, but the sarcasm that followed was, so I'm glad the joke was told. Is this pessimism ?...
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 Side Note! Drunk people are funny until they puke on you or your stuff (or both) and pass out. Then its not really funny.
