Guest NoCalMike Posted January 31, 2003 Report Posted January 31, 2003 Well, when I showed up to work today, we had a wonderful all team meeting to hear that HP in CA, is moving to Texas. Looks like HP/Compaq's head bitch in control Carly Fiorra, is not satissfied with her millions of dollars anymore, and would like to earn more by moving the warehouse to Texas where labor laws are much looser, and the wages to workers are much cheaper. In case you already didn't know, I work with Dangerous A, Ced Ordonez, Bubble Boy, Dopey, and DA's brother. So we are no longer going to be working together. I am a temp, so I will most likely be the first one to go.....the building is being shut down in July, and they told us layoffs should beging in April....so wish me luck in finding a new job....

They are trying to regroup and find their bearings. I does suck though that you lost your job and I wish you luck on finding a new job and bouncing back from this.

Hahahaha, I know you guys like knocking the guy, but he is trying to get married this year,(so is Dangerous A), and I was getting ready to move out with my girl. So this is gonna hurt all of us a lot more than a kick to the balls. At least I am a crappy temp, that can probably find another low-level temp job. Some guys that are higher in the food chain may have more probems finding an EQUIVALENT paying/benefits job with the crappy job market right now.

Everyone does something different, but we are basically in the same department except for Ced_Ordonez, but he is right next to us in the building and is available to waste time with us whenever we want.

Somebody is offering money for Shattered Dreams to Bubble Boy? *examines his checking account* How much are we talking here? OK, in all seriousness, I can't just lay violence into him (though there was that roundhouse kick to the thigh...and the guillotine choke...but I digress). Although he does tend to rub people the wrong way alot, I'm not going to lose the current source of funds for my college education, bills, etc. and let him be the reason for it, no matter how fleeting my time with this company is. Among other things, DA and Bubble Boy are making wedding plans with their respective ladies, NorCalMike's chilling with his girl, and...well, I'm making some good progress with a girl that is completely cool with my wrestling smarkdom (she really liked the Royal Rumble's Angle/Benoit match...WOOOOO!) Bottom line is that while I don't give much of a damn for him, I've got more pressing issues to worry about and Bubble Boy's got things to worry about as well.
