USA's Night Flight

I just mentioned this in another thread and wanted to know if anyone here remembers this. It was USA's precurssor to Up All Night circa 1983. I was only four myself, so it's just on the tip of my consciousness but other people have told me about it. It was on late night weekends and just showed the most out there stuff. Really obscure movies, odd documentaries, cartoons, rock videos, film shorts, sometimes just twenty minutes of keliadoscope images flashing on the screen. A stoner's paradise of visual weirdness.

It was a true hodge podge. I remember it because it would show music videos that you wouldnt normal see like Elvis Costello and XTC.

Sheer was Up All Night. Night Flight was before her. If memory serves, they just had a disembodied announcer.

All I remember is Up All Night...If it was 1983 then I was only 1 so that would be expected.

Me and BX were talking about this a while back...well, actually *I* was talking about it, he's somewhat too young to remember.

 

Anyhoo, they used to show the original Power Rangers stuff on Night Flight, with the japanese actors and all, not little American kids and other footage cut-in like it is today. Night Flight r0xx0r'd.
