Guest Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Why isn't anyone talking about this show on here? It's pretty damn funny. I thought last week's episode on psychics was funny than this week's on chiropractors and magnet therapists, but they were both hilarious. That one chiropractor who bragged about having a patient who was 90 seconds old was quite sick, though. Repeats are on Saturday at midnight on Showtime.
Guest Jack Tunney Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Teller was my Moms High School Latin teacher.
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 It must not be carried here, cause it's Saturday, midnight, and it's not on any of the Showtimes. On second thought, you probably meant the midnight that ends Saturday, not the one that begins it. My mistake.
Guest razazteca Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 the 1st show about the people who can talk to the dead was good especially the attack on The Biggest Douch In The World
Guest MrRant Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 I've had the pleasure of seeing Penn & Teller live in Las Vegas and they are really good in person and connect with the crowd.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Penn & Teller are great. I wish I'd recorded the first one about phony psychics, because then I'd make my mom watch it (because she believes that shit, regardless of the fact that I told her almost all of The Biggest Douche In The Universe's questions were pretty vague). That fucker that said chiropractic treatment can cure any illness is HORSESHIT. He shouldn't be allowed to have a license, especially if he's cracking the bones of a BABY.
Guest Ram Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 What they say about the Biggest Douche in the Universe? Curious, I am. I wonder if they carry it around here..
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Ram, they basically said he's a bullshit artist. They also presented some nice information to back themselves up, what with talking to ACTUAL parapsychologists/paranormal investigators, and a reformed con-artist that used to do things just like John Edwards does for pocket money.
Guest hardyz1 Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 I was just going to post this thread. It's a great show. It was so hilarious when they were fooling all those people in the mall with the fake magnetic healing items. I'm thinking of making "Baby Twisting Motherfucker" my personal subtitle.
Guest imajackoff? Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 I wanted to see this show, but my digital cable is whoring me on the Showtime channels.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 I'm going to make it a point to catch this show every chance I get. If I could make my own show, I'd want it to be a format like this. Take bullshit artists and completely rip them down to their bare bones.
Guest EternallyLazy Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 Agreed. This show kicks ass
