XPW ANNOUNCES DEVELOPMENTAL SYSTEM AND AFFILIATE REGIONAL PROMOTIONS!

 

 

Xtreme Professional Wrestling is proud to announce that on February 1, XPW

will begin working relationships with 4 independent wrestling promotions

which will collectively act as the company's developmental system.

 

Wrestlers interested in obtaining work in XPW and/or talent who XPW has

interest in, will have an opportunity to be programmed into whichever

promotion is closest to them for tryout matches or in some situations longer

term developmental deals.

 

WESTERN REGION - Revolution Pro Wrestling (Rev Pro) - RevolutionPro.com

Based in the Los Angeles area, Revolution Pro has become one of the most

technically sound wrestling companies west of the Mississippi. With focus on

the faster paced lucha style of wrestling, but with an American twist, a

number of current XPW stars enjoy attending Rev Pro workout sessions as a way

to sharpen their skills. As with all four developmental territories, on

occasion, XPW wrestlers will appear on Rev Pro shows. The first appearances

will take place on Rev Pro's show on Saturday, February 8th in Los Angeles,

as Angel teams with Rev Pro's Rising Son to battle Rev Pro's Disco Machine

and XPW World Television Champion Kaos!

 

MIDDLE AMERICA - IWA Mid South (IWA) - iwamidsouthwrestling.com

If ever there was a wrestling promotion fit to develop wrestlers for XPW it

is the IWA. No other regional promotion mixes pure wrestling with

ultraviolent hardcore like the IWA. At XPW's New Year's Revolution and

Aftermath shows Supreme and Justice Pain battled in a "House of Horrors"

Deathmatch and then an I Quit Match. Two nights, two different sets of

skills. XPW is confident that between the current stars of the IWA and the

wrestlers XPW will send into the territory for development, the promotion

will be able to provide XPW with a large number of wrestlers ready to "make

it" on the national level. The IWA often features XPW wrestlers Shark Boy,

Youthanazia, Tracy Smothers, and Jerry Lynn and has just signed its first

wrestler to XPW as Chris Hero will make his XPW debut at My Bloody Valentine.

The IWA makes its home in Indiana, right across the border from Louisville,

KY.

 

EAST COAST - Heritage Wrestling Alliance (HWA)

Pennsylvania's Heritage Wrestling Alliance is the new home for east coast

wrestlers who are trying to make their way into XPW. Chris Hamrick serves

not only as talent on every HWA show, but as XPW's head talent scout, reports

back to every wrestler on the each HWA card with his evaluation and comments

from the XPW office on wrestlers and their development. In addition to

Hamrick, current XPW stars who appear in the HWA include Justice Pain, Danny

Doring, and Altar Boy Luke. The HWA is also the new home to the first XPW

developmental signees, the tag team of Tappa Tappa Kegga.

 

SOUTH - War Zone Wrestling (WZW) - warzonewrestling.com

Earlier this month, XPW opened an office in Tampa, FL, Xtreme Promotions, to

prepare for shows in the region. After solidifying the office, the promoters

decided to open a second office which would be War Zone Wrestling. Over the

next few weeks, the state of wrestling in Florida will drastically change as

a number of promoters, wrestlers, and personalities from the region combine

to launch the new independent promotion who will run a regular schedule of

shows with a minimum of four a month. Danny Doring will serve as XPW's scout

in WZW and will be charged with reporting back on and developing new talent

from the region. WZW will also feature appearances by a large number of XPW

stars including XPW World Champion "The Franchise" Shane Douglas and his

woman, XPW owner Lizzy Borden. War Zone Wrestling will be the exclusive home

of XPW talent in the Florida area. Those in the region who are interested in

Personally, I don't necessarily watch XPW for great wrestling. I watch it because I'm entertained by a variety of their wrestlers (Kaos, GQ Money, Storm, Matt/Josh, MMW, etc.) and enjoy the fact that unlike most independant companies, have halfway comprehensible storylines.

 

They do a lot of stuff that I don't enjoy, but I'm a fan, regardless.

 

On the other hand, I love both ROH and CZW, so I pretty much like everything in Philly minus 3PW.

And I have seen some XPW. I saw Freefall on a HORRIBLE condition comp tape that fell apart after about 3 viewings. Me and my cousin just sat and laughed at it.
