I havent been posting in weeks but I decided to atleast let the people who know me know Im leaving. Most of the people here were really cool and made this place fun. I will try to visit once and a while but probly wont be able to. Bye guys.

Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted February 1, 2003 Dammit, now who will I talk to about cars?? In your honor, I will post a link to Ricecop.com, a site dedicated to the kinds of automobiles I really hope your Civic does not become. And, of course, to balance those fugly cars out, I present a 1967 Mustang GT Fastback with a 335hp 390ci engine, mint condition:

Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted February 1, 2003 Nice to see a guy leave on good terms on TSM. See ya. And Kotz, I've got a Civic too (a funky green hatchback, but I digress...) , but aside from a set of wheels, the improvements are done under the hood. That one Civic link just reminded me of my motto, "Big spoilers are ghey."
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted February 1, 2003 See, as I've said many times, as long as you do stuff under the hood, I gots no beef with you. And new wheels on ANY car are almost a must, unless you've got a bloody Cobra R or one of the new GTOs next year.

Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted February 2, 2003 HBK16 left me for another woman! Although you indelibly left little more of an impression in my mind than "the dude who killed the mission to 1000 thread", I talked to you once or twice over AIM and you seem like a good enough guy. You're leaving because you have a life now. Damn you! ::shakes fist:: Best of luck in that real life, by the way.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted February 2, 2003 Follow your dreams, dude. Life's short. Don't waste your precious free time at a forum where everybody bitches and complains about HHH putting on bad matches, or A-Train being used too much. Go out. Start a career. Get married. Have kids. Raise them to be wrestling fans. Follow your dream... Sorry, I'm just feeling very "carpe diem" at the moment...

Guest HBK16 Report post Posted February 2, 2003 Kotx you dont have to worry about me turning my civic into a fucking space craft. All the work I do is under the hood. I have a few decals on my car but those are sponsors so they are ok. Im hoping to put a roll cage on my car cuz I just put in a fucking supercharger in there and racing is becoming a weekend regular on my schedual. And I mean real racing not street racing. Oh and about the neon lights, it was mentioned on a poll of what I should get. Just because it was on the poll doesnt mean I was gonna put it in.
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted February 2, 2003 I never did ask, is it a 4-banger or a V6? Hatch? Coupe?
Guest HBK16 Report post Posted February 2, 2003 Its just a 4. Coupe
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted February 2, 2003 So you get how much with the supercharger and everything else? About 275-300hp? EDIT: A generous estimate probably, but I know little of import cars' power output. Also, wouldn't it have been a better idea to put turbo on it, like the old Ford SVO vehicles, which were also 4-bangers?
Guest HBK16 Report post Posted February 2, 2003 Actually with everything in my engine I got approx 355. Its amazing what you can do when your best friend can build cars from the ground up and your sponsored. When I first started building my car, it was really hard and expensive. But as soon as I got my first sponsor, they paid for a lot of the stuff I wanted, or they wanted on my car. The supercharger I only paid about $300 for. A value of about $2500. And I replaced my original performance parts I got on my own with better performance parts. Im probably gonna stop fixing up my Civic after I get my roll cage in and get myself a 1997 Acura Integra. I originally wanted a WRX but fiding performance parts for it would cost me a shit load of money since they arent that common and would probably have to have them made. I will just see how my budget is in the future. EDIT: To answer your question, I was going to put in a turbo instead but with everything else I have gotten it would have fitted better and given me more power with the supercharger. Guest RobJohnstone Report post Posted February 2, 2003 Keep the civic and get an H22a engine in it. Those suckers move. You get more bang for your buck that way. For the money you spend on a 97 acura you could get a 97 eclipse gsx. --Rob
Guest RobJohnstone Report post Posted February 2, 2003 BTW the new EVO comes to american soon. If you want to shell out some cash that would be the car to get. 281 hp stock. --Rob
