A look at virgil

Since I got some good feedback on my Gang Warz piece and made it sound GOOD. I'm going to try my hand at a second one.  I'll do a top ten list pretty soon too.

Virgil was in the WWF from 1987-1993. Virgil got his start by wrestling for the CWA as "Soul Train Jones". In 1987 the WWF picked up Soul Train to be Ted DiBiase's bodyguard for his "Million Dollar Man" Gimmick. Since Dusty was booking the NWA at the time and Dusty's real name is Virgil. Soul Train was now known as Virgil.

Virgil's job was to hold money, interfere, and take bumps. Hogan suplexed him on the floor at WM 4, Savage kicked his ass a few times. By 1991 it was time for a change so the WWF split up Ted and Virgil and Virgil started to train under Roddy Piper to be a wrestler.

At Wrestlemania VII Virgil faced DiBiase and won by Count Out. DiBiase and his new manager "Scary" Sherri Martel beat the crap out of Piper and Virgil. SummerSlam 1991 rolled around and then Virgil beat DiBiase for the Million Dollar Belt, until Repo Man repossed it. Now Virgil had outlived his usefulness and he got to become a JTJTTS.

Virgil started to Job to everyone in sight, Ric Flair, The Mounite, Shawn Michaels, Skinner (SKINNNER!!!!). Then Virgil faced Sid.  Virgil lost and Sid broked his nose for good measure. Virgil started to wear a nose guard like Test used to a couple years ago. Virgil got a win in an 8 man tag at WM 8, it'd be his last win for a long time.

Virgil jobbed to everyone in the fed with the only exeptions of The Brooklyn Brawler, and Barry O. Virgil lost to Nailz at SummerSlam, and Yokozuna at Survivor Series. In 1993 Virgil didn't do much better, he did get an IC title show though against Shawn Michaels, Michaels didn't even need Sweet Chin Music beat him. Diesel beat him up a few times too. Soon afer Virgil was gone.

Virgil popped up in WCW in late 1996 as "Vince". Dusty was in charge of WCW and since the name "Virgil" was used to mock him, then he'd be named Vince to mock McMahon. Vince was the nWo head of security and whipping boy. He almost NEVER fought and when he did he lost. He tried to take over the nWO at Uncensored 1999 and lost. When the West Texas Rednecks hit WCW in Summer 1999 Vince became "Curly Bill". I haven't seen him since.

If this sounds interesting then I must have some special talent of making crap sound good.

This was a pretty informative piece, but you need to have more fun with it.  You seem to be holding back, really tear into something on your next piece.  It'd also add some needed filler to your column (yes, sometimes filler is necessary).  If this stuff is really as bad as you say it is it shouldn't be a problem - remember WrestleCrap? That stuff was hilarious!

Maven seems like he can be the next Virgil.  Over for about a year wrestling, then becoming a JTTS.  I could be wrong.  Who knows?

Virgil broke his nose by ATTEMPTINg to stop Sid Justice from beating the shit out of a jobber even more, by having sid hit Vigils face into a turnbuckle. (A TURNBUCKLE!!!)

Virgil was in the 94 Royal Rumble and after the Curly Bill gimmick I think he was alligned with Russo during the Powers That Be era.  Other than missing those minor things the article is pretty good.

He was also Mr. Jones, the Cats ummm... valet? I liked Miss Jones a lot better... she was a hottie.

Also Missy Hyatt claims that Virgil had to exchange sexual favours with Pat Patterson for a job. You might want to include that in there somewhere too.
