Kind of a fantasy thing but:

If you were Vince , what would you have in mind to build for at WrestleMania 19?

 

I dont have any idea that I can think of right now (ill add in when i do), but have always believed that you should have a plan in place while booking.

 

Any ideas for big matches, the main event?

Rock - Austin sounds like a good bet, especially if they keep them apart in the two companies. Maybe turn Rock heel too.

Next year will be Austin vs. Goldberg at the Georgia Dome.

You know I was going to say Rock/Austin, but I thought for sure someone would say AGAIN! I think if they don't get Goldberg then Rock and Austin could be really huge if they are kept separate until the showdown which can happen with the split. This depends on Hogan though. IF and a BIG IF Hogan loses to both Rock and Austin the wwf can really build THE MATCH since Austin MOST likely SHOULD retire by WrestleMania 20. I have some strong feeling the wwf political tyrants will creep in though.

 

I say you put your money on Rock. Rock beats Hogan tommorrow. Then Rock beats wwf world champion Triple H finally at SummerSlam. He holds the belt to defend it against someone next year at Mania. Austin/Goldberg WOULD surpass Hogan/Rock because both aren't considered to be stale or old, while Hogan is more nostalgic. Rock/Goldberg could also work. Anyways, that's what I feel. BTW, the radio station was really plugging Jericho undisputed world heavyweight champion, Booker T for wcw world heavyweight champion, and Tommy Dreamer former ecw heavyweight champion, during a club last night. I was shocked the deejay would even know who the #### Tommy Dreamer was.

If I was Vince I would do Austin vs. Goldberg at WM 19. Of course Goldberg would have to be signed. If that doesn't happen, then Rock vs. Austin probaby will. Or if the nWo angle somehow catches fire...Hogan vs. Austin WM 19.

 

 

I think sometime this year reports will start flying that the WWF is trying to sign Goldberg.

Well in a fantasy world, Benoit/Jericho or Benoit/Angle.

 

Assuming everyone stays at the same levels they are now, Rock/Austin would be the obvious, as everyone said. If they push RVD again though, he could be over enough to main event.

All these matches would draw with the proper build up and they would all be good to great work wise.  I figure that in a year HHH's carrying abilities will have come back.

I don't know about Mania 19...

 

But I think Backlash should be RVD vs. HHH in a "Whoever has less heat must retire" match.

 

Although JR would probably call it a split crowd anyway.

 

As for Mania 19.

A Rock versus Austin match would be stale as we have already seen it twice at Wresltemania. Here are my two suggestions for the main event next year.

 

Austin versus Hogan: This is the match that we should have seen at the last Wrestlemania (not to take anything away from The Rock who put on the best show I have ever seen with Hogan). These two truly are the biggest names in the world of wrestling ever. Who would not want to see this match?

 

Triple H versus Goldberg: If the WWF is really going to bring in Goldberg (and I hope they do not) let him and Triple H go at it in the ring. Only make it a shoot so that they can show us all how much they really 'like' each other

I disagree about Hogan-Austin. I still maintain we get Austin-Flair as the smarks rebuttal to Hogan-Rock. The heat would be intense but the match would probably approach closer to ***** then any other match Flair will have in his stay.

I think Hogan just gave Rock more rub than Austin ever could and that's coming from a hogan hater. give me Austin-Flair by Mania at the latest dammit!!!!
