Who Damages the WWE

Recommended Posts

Guest Trivia247

We talk alot how certain wrestlers very presence or their work in the ring or the Backstage politics we read about Damages WWE.

Lets break down whom exactly are the offending trouble makers and exactly why they are allowed to do this...

Now even though he's my favorite I'll Stipulate that the Undertaker damages the Fed in the sense he hardly ever puts anyone over and has been at the top of the heap for a decade plus, though he never won as many world titles as others, being at the top doesn't mean you need a belt.

We can name other usual suspects

HHH

Vince for lack of vision

Various writers and those who book crap matches

JR for his Strange obession with Hosses

Lawler for almost dooming the WWE with the Hymen Scandel

various Hosses who somehow gettting themselves booked over quality wrestlers

Stephanie, for losing her mcmahon wrestling mind everytime she bends over for HHH (This portion of the Topic is rated PG-13) lol

Who do you think is sinking the ship and why?

It's been said before, but I still believe the blame must rest entirely with Vince McMahon. Even if HHH/Stephanie are guilty of everything the backstage rumors suggest and worse, even if UT is sitting back there flatly stating "I put no-one over," Vince has the power to make this all go away. But he isn't.

Along those lines, boy, I can't wait to see Jericho job to Steiner tomorrow.

Not even *I* have the energy to continuously lash out at those who blame Hunter for everything, so I'll sit back and let 90% of the Smarks declare Paul Levesque the AntiChrist blindly because one started it and the rest feel compelled to follow.

Vince hurts the fuckin' WWE.

If HHH really wanted to put over Jericho or RVD he could do it. Vince is in charge, but HHH has enough say in his character that he could chane the direction of his character.

Vince deserves most of the blame. I really don't think Vince's mind for the wrestling business is what is used to be. He's giving HHH, and Stephanie to much power.

The WWE lacks writers or creative staff with backgrounds in wrestling. The fault for poor writers is Vince McMahon. He hired people who don't have a good knowledge of the business.

This falls on Vince once again. He's the owner he needs to know that the hosses aren't helping things.

Not sure what that one means. Lawler's act is tired. Let him be himself, and I would have no problem with him. He's not the cause of the problems though.

The hosses are only doing what their told. Albert and Bill Demott can't be blamed for the booking staffs stupidity. UT is the only hoss who has in say backstage and could change the direction of his character.

Stephanie's problems goes beyond HHH. She doesn't belong in the creative end of the business. Ever since the head writer left in the fall of 2000, things have been on the decline overall.

In closing Vince McMahon deserves the overall blame. He also deserves the blame for keeping Stephanie as head writer.

HHH deserves the blame for his character and not putting anyone over, and maybe some of the problems.

well since there is so much hate for wrestlers whose name start with H what about HOGAN for setting a low standard of workrate for the big guys which constist of the punch & kick offense and the no-sell finger & head shake.

Blaming Vince is a given. We all know that.

And HHH IS evil. And I'm not joking.

Jeff Hardy for putting on week spotfest matches and his fetish 4 body paint and white undershirts. Jeff seriously needs several weeks off to heal and work on a new character.

Hardy still sucks, but at least appears to be more motivated than usual the past two weeks.

The HHH-hate is excessive but not without merit.

He's destroyed every main-event level wrestler he's faced in feuds to the point where they've brought in scott fucking stiener when booker-t is RIGHT THERE!

You've said before you believe triple h honestly thinks what he's doing is right for the company.

I choose to believe he's not that warped that he doesn't notice the crumbling ratings, he knows exactly what he's doing.

Of course, your right about vince though, he can stop this rot anytime he really wants to.

Steiner. Despite being unable to wrestle a decent match or cut a coherent promo he is still paid a ton of money to work for WWE and put in a ppv main event with the champion. He bombs so badly the crowd turns on him and what does Vince do...keeps the feud going on. This sends a very clear message to guys like Booker and RVD.

Remember back when the NWO was first signed? And at the same time there were paycuts across the whole roster?

Now look at Nash. how much time has he actually spent on-camera to justify that money?

How must those who have had their pay cut feel?

Morale's biggest hit must be Nash/Hall.

Vince is sinking his own ship for lack of vision. It's that simple. Putting Stephanie into a significant role, letting Brian Gewertz (sp?) ruin Raw, (apparently) allowing Triple H's character to thrive while others get JR's woodshed. I have a feeling this is basically a HHHate thread though.

Too be fair this isn't a HHHater thread persay, though we agree he does Damage the Fed more visabily than most.

Vince should Shoulder most of the burden of the travesty that is his company.

Because like many says....it is Vince's responsiblity to watch his fed and protect it from crap like this. This, Austin walking out, XFL WBF years before and other crappy ideas of the past couple of Decades could have been prevented by Vince.

the difference between now and then however, those little mistakes doesnt threaten a Mass exodus of WWE Viewers as now a days does.

The thread is about who, by having a job, hurts the WWE.

Vince won't be going anywhere since he's in charge so who in the WWE that could lose that job is hurting the WWE?

GERWITZ!

How could Vince be so blind to how bad this man is at writing storylines?
